Can anyone else "feel" (not the right word I know) the expectation rising in their heart? Something just beyond their reach and sight but you know it there? Hallelujah! I don't care what I see or can feel something is coming! Get prayed up people and EXPECT God to DO something!! How can I know that? Because God lives in me and I am doing something, and God's Word promises the Jesus will work with me. You might say "Awww! Brother David, I thought maybe you heard something from God!" I did! I read it and I am CHOOSING to believe it and as soon as I did I could HEAR Gos saying it! But You know, it it is something beyond that too. Does anyone else "sense" it? Is anyone "Hearing" it?

Pray for New Orleans!

The Hurricane Katrina is coming in to the gulf coast and if it hits the New Orleans area too hard it could be devasting to U.S. oil production and could greatly hurt our economy, let alone the loss of life that could occur. Pray Now! Don't wait!

Hello all of my DCM family, I have sooo many things to praise God about. First of all I just want to praise God for the DCM website being back up, so I can keep in touch with ya'll! Second of all Jasmine started school today at a Christian school, which she was just ecstatic about when she came home (which makes me ecstatic, of course!). Also, her and I prayed for her to meet some good friends and she met a little friend at school today, Ashliee. Also there is a position open at the local hospital, that I have applied for, that seems to have pretty good benefits, and an onsite daycare (since Jazz only has school Mon - Thurs), so God willing that position will be mine! I just praise God for the things that he's doing in our lives! I also just want to say how awesome he is and how glad I am that he's with us and that we don't have to do ANYTHING or go ANYWHERE without him and he helps us to make every decision in our lives as long as we ask!!! We love and miss ya'll lots! Keepin ya in our prayers and askin for your prayers that God continues to guide us to what he wants us to do and that we keep our eyes, ears, and hearts open to those things! Oh yeah and for the job situation also!;o)

Love and prayers. Miss Deb (We really miss you at Jungle Jam practice.) Did anyone tell you we are doing the show in '2' weeks instead of '6' weeks? Oh well I believe in miracles. :)

Love and miss ya's! We have the same Father, so we're not very far apart in Spirit! Lots of hugs!

BTW, keep an eye on those license plates, I wasn't too surprised about that e-mail Sis Vicki, I was but I wasn't! Take care everyone! God Bless! Oh - the license plates. A new twist on an old crime. Desperate people have stolen license plates and put them on thier vehicles then went to a gas station to pump gas and drive off without paying. Then the camera sees the stolen plate - not the real one and the victim gets charged for the crime. So be sure to check your plates often! Don't know if it has hit Florida yet.

Since we are going to be doing this on Sunday, September 11th at the Lutheran Church, I think it would be a great thing to simply move the set onto the trailer and take it to the park that Sunday night! This would be weather permitting, of course. I would like the crew to be telling people about this. Some 1/2 page fliers announcing it, along with DIRECTIONS (turn LEFT at the first stop at Island Park)and the time. As a matter of fact, I make these. I really praise God for all of you putting this together and especially so quickly. You really did look good last night at practice! It is going to be fun! Get the vision of seeing our huge stage on the trailer under the canopy which will be covered with camo instead of the white. It will look fanatastic. We can cruise around town for a couple of hours before the performance and pass out the fliers, have the generator running and the CD playing! Also, we are shooting for the homecoming parade with the same idea, a performance afterward. Great ministry, a great time! And great reward from the Lord! WIN WIN WIN!!! And if we can't simply finish it yet this fall, the Holy Roller will be the tow vehicle next year, and I guarantee that will capture attention! Folks, this will be the THIRD of three different Jungle Jam presentations we have done since I have been here. Can you imagine what it would be like to have all three "down" so we could do them? We could do fantastic children's crusades! Just a reminder, this is really the vision of the Salvation Show trailer. Music, puppets, and other ministy going OUT. And we are doing it. Praise the Lord, and let His glory be magnified in Isabella County, amen.

Hey you all, I seen two really good resources that I wanted to tell you about, in case you can get a hold of them to, it'd be worth it. One is Fully Alive it's with Beth Moore and James Robison and his wife, Betty. the bit I caught was something that is life changing, a real blessing, I could get you more info if your interested, my new email is ibelievetheword@hotmail.com. The other thing I'd like to get myself soon, ALSO, is by Jack Van Impe, on Revelation. It looks like a really good teaching. Stay in the Word. He loves us w/ an everlasting love, Jeremiah 31:3, I think it is. Blessing to you all, no worries, no fears, no doubt, God is for us, who can be against us. His love is the greatest. My prayer right now is for peace that surpasses understanding for all of us believer's in central michigan and beyond, also for us to let the Christ in us rule, and our love never to grow cold. Take care, I heard something good lately, Rexella Impe said, a well read bible is a sign of a well fed soul. keep God first.

We really need to do this, and to be ready to help financially if and when we have the resources! Keeping Katrina victims in our prayers definitely and about the financial part...I sit here going God I don't really have anything and he reminds me of the woman that only had one "coin" to give or the woman that used her last ingredients that she had, to make bread for Elijah and they were both blessed immensely. If we're not blessed on earth we can rest assured that we will be blessed in heaven and that to me is far greater than anything we could get down here!

Hello all...well I just want to praise God for his awesome teachings and things that we already know, but that HE just wants to remind us about. The pastor at the church we've been going to preached about Our relationship with God. He was saying how relationships are important and that life is made up of relationships (moms, dads, brothers, sisters, families, wives, husbands, friends, neighbors), but the most important relationship man needs to have is with God. Sometimes I think many of us get side tracked with the hussle and bussle of everyday living and the other relationships in our lives and forget about the most important one! I'm so greatful that He is still right where he's always been and is just waiting for us to get back into that relationship realm with Him. He's such a good and faithful God!! Don't know if this will bless anyone else, but it did me!!:oD Love n miss ya guys. Hope everyones enjoying their Labor Day!!

Hey everyone! I just wanted to check up on you all! I miss you guys so much. I was really missin you on Sunday. My head/satan kept telling me that I should get up and leave church, no one cares if you are here or not. I kept seeing myself getting up and walking out, and no one caring. I hated that feeling. Then after church, they have the elders stand up front and if someone wants prayer they pray with them. Well, Pastor Lou told me to go get prayed for...I was like WHOA! I asked him if there was a reason why, like something from God, he said no..he could just see it in my countance (spelled right :S) and I told him that Pastor Chuck used to be able to tell by that too. Made me miss you Pastor! :D I love you guys soooo very much! I can't wait to see you guys again, I don't know when I'll be down! I miss you all, but love you more! Take care! God Bless! The key is... and you wrote it.... "satan messin' with your head. Now I am not sure it was specifically him, but even if it was, you can and need to take these kinds of thought captive. You have the ability and power to do it. You should be able to counter those thoughts with the World. Dig in (I could do this for you, but I won't! :)) and find some verses on LOVE, LOVE OF THE BRETHREN, LOVE OF GOD, etc. Put them into your brain! Same way with LEAVING CHURCH. If the Word is in you, it will rise up out of your spirit and you can use it to fight these thoughts. Hey, if Jesus had to use the Word to fight the devil, we all do, no one is exempt. And you will continue to win. No condemnation here, just want to help. Thanks for being so open with your heart!!

I was going to reply to KC and fill her in on everything we are doing lately, but instead thought I would post a general News Flash for all our friends out there who are scattered about the nation - being missionaries where ever God has planted you. We've been working hard on another Jungle Jam type puppet performance. Pastor and Eric and Mike have really put together a nice set for us. It looks very jungle-Y. And all of the puppeteers have been working and practicing their little hearts out! It is looking good and I must say it is because God has given us a heart to work together to tell a sweet story about unity and cooperation. It's all good! Christ is King! Later.

Don't forget Sis. Vicki Sue, the Junglemeister. She has worked VERY hard as well! I know personally (of course). I know it is hard for you puppeteers, people out front get to see all the fruit of your labors, while all you get to see is a curtain in your face, and watch you puppet arm grow like Popeye's because of all the WORK. God bless you for a great spirit of cooperation. Josh, quit jumping off things, and stay healthy :) See you all again real soon.. and again, and again....and again....

I just left the practice this evening of Jungle Jam after chatting with the folks there and snapping a few pictures. I must say I am IMPRESSED at the work that has gone into this. So much done by so many. I have to get more involved myself. I am looking forward to the presentation Sunday at 1:00 pm. The Lutheran Church is just north of M-20 on Bradley. WOW! Look for some of the pictures on the web site soon.

I am so excited that we learned something new. The puppet ministry is much more work than just singing on the Salvation Show trailer, but we had a much greater crowd. You all did GREAT today. The "bad" part about all this is it just gets my spiritual wheels turning even more! I think we can do this ministry directly from the trailer without the set up and tear down. It would be a lot easier this way. And hey, wasn't it fun to tool around the park on the trailer with the puppets. Anyone want to say "hayride"? Fall is almost here! Great job team, I pray peace and rest upon you. I hope we will have some pictures up on the site soon, so you can see how ya'll looked. God bless!!

Not that I have to tell any of you this...but I just praise God for Jasmine...she's just an awesome gift!!! Plus she can say things to certain people that wouldn't be taken the same way if I was to say them!!!:o) Can't wait to see the pictures!!!

I just have to give God some more praise...never can give Him enough for the awesome things he's doing in our lives! I had 2 job offers, 1 at a nursing home and 1 as a customer service rep for Sprint and Nextel...they both had their upside and downside. 1 I wasn't going to be able to attend church every other Sunday AM (nursing home)...the other after 3 weeks may not have been able to attend Wednesday pm church every Weds. and would've been away from Jazz from before she got out of school til after she was in bed, but would've had Sundays off! I was really leaning toward the Nursing home, but didn't want to unplug from church at all and wanted to be able to be with Jazz after school for bedtime and all that, so I called and told them I had a different job offer and that if they couldn't give me Sundays off...I'd have to take the other offer..the lady told me to let her see what she could do, because they normally only do every other weekend! That Sunday the pastor at the church we've been attending preached about telling God your needs specifically that way he could show himself to you when he met them, (not that I didn't know this, but great refresher)so that night and the next day I did exactly that, very specifically! Than I said God if this is the job you want me to have you're gonna do what you need done...cause I know that you don't want me unpluggin from church! Well...I called the lady back on Monday and she said that there was a lady that had worked there for awhile and just recently came in and asked if she could have Sats off and work Suns, so she was an answer to my prayers and I to hers! Now I get Suns off and the shift that I asked for is day 7am to 3pm...so that allows me to be able to be in church Wed pm AND Jasmines school gets out at 3:15 and allows them to be there until 4...so I can pick her up on my way home from work!!! PRAISE GOD!!! He is faithful and just!!!! Love ya'll!

I love the Jungle Jams! I'm all about learning all of them and/or performing what we've got wherever we're welcomed. Even when I first listened to the CD before I even saw a puppet, I felt an anointing on it and while we rehearsed and even performed I knew it was ministering to me. I even got a comment that during our technical difficulties at the park the alligator was amusing. Way to go, Dave! Way to go all of us...it was a lot of hard work but it paid off by far!

Man! You all just make my heart swell with affection. I know it sounds sappy, but it is true! Tiffany - I'm so thankful that God is moving on your behalf!! The eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the Earth searching for those whose hearts are perfect toword Him - so HE can be STRONG on their behalf. He's just looking for a chance to prove it to us! And it is so true! a child can march right in and speak to a situation and have an effect where we might not be as effective. Bless you guys! Stay in prayer. Things are happening. I have been so tied up with the Jungle Jam that I haven't even had a chance to check out the forum in DAYS - but it is good to come back and hear all the good reports. We'll put the pictures up on the website asap. Everyone was SO great to work with and it was just a blessing to be a part of it all. I'm a grateful person. God is GOOD!

Just when I may think I have not only the tithing and giving down (almost 30 year's worth)I find there is even a GREATER standard. Wow! I love zeal and passion and the struggle and force for true righteousness! Remember we are predestined to be CONFORMED TO THE IMAGE OF JESUS CHRIST and that is truly a high standard! Straight (like a turnstyle) and narrow is the way, and FEW there be that find it. Be blessed today as you chase Him!!

Brief synopsis of our trip to Singapore...Left MBS airport around 10:00 AM on the 13th. Flew almost straight north over the North Pole down over Siberia, a little east of Beijing, stopping in Hong Kong for about 2 1/2 to 3 hours (only in the airport, sadly). Left Hong Kong and arrived in Singapore about 11:30 PM on the 14th. From leaving home around 6 AM, spent total time of about 30+ hours before arriving in Singapore at Pam & Brads apartment. Just now getting used to the time change of 12 hours. When you go to bed at 10 or 11, it is mid-morning here. Having a good time, but missing DCM and everyone there. It really is true "THERE IS NO PLACE LIKE HOME". Appreciate it!

Wow. Dr. Barclay hit it on the head when he started this Helps Conference with the topic of loving God with all of our heart, soul, strength, and mind. I know it is a simple message, but it was so powerful! The basis of all of our work in the Kingdom is LOVE. If you don't love God, whatever you do will get to be old, routine, an even tiresome. And if you truly love God, anything you do for Him is joyful and also rewarding! I am also glad that I spent so many weeks preaching and teaching on love. It was a great confirmation to me about being on the right track. This is going to be a great conference!

Good news! While at the conference I got to thinking of the biggest problem I have with my Pastor, Dr. Barclay, is that I DON'T GET TO HEAR FROM HIM ENOUGH! Not a bad problem to have with your pastor! And I thought all the hundreds of pastors and churches connected to him probably feel the same. SOOOOOO, I got bold and wrote him an email suggesting he shoot a video geared toward all of us pastors and churches. Do it on a semi-regular basis, and we would have a special night where we show the video in our churches, and then actually receive an offering for him and send it to him. A special "Doc's in the house" video night! After a few days, I got a response, and he loved the idea, and is already working on it! I am so blessed to be able to help my pastor like this. And of course, we will participate in the program. Once in a while (monthly?) we will set up the projector and we will hear directly from the prophet on important, timely, and helpful issues! I can't wait for the first one. And I thank the Lord for a forum like this where we can share news like this!

It ran fine, no mechanical problems and everything seemed secure and safe. I am disappointed it has taken so long to complete it, but we have a really good start for next year. I know it was a bit deep last night. But I really think we need to take closer look at what the Word says about us and our lives, after we have made Jesus our Lord. We were bought with a price. If we belong to the Lord, EVERYTHING within our grasp also belongs to him.. EVERYTHING. Including time, talents, material possessions. How many are really walking like this? Luke 14:25-28 - Now great multitudes went with Him. And He turned and said to them,26 "If anyone comes to Me and does not hate his father and mother, wife and children, brothers and sisters, yes, and his own life also, he cannot be My disciple.27 And whoever does not bear his cross and come after Me cannot be My disciple. NKJV - Wow! What a standard! Think about this!

A story I found in the lacal paper.... Arguments begin in evolution case..... Harrisburg Pa. (ap) A school district is undermining science education by raising false doubts about evolution and offering "intelligent design" as an alternative explanation for life's origians, a biologist testified at the start of a landmaqrk trial. "It's the first movement to try to drive a wedge between students and scientific process," said Brown. University's Kenneth Miller, the first witness called monday by lawyers for 8 families suing the Dover area school district. Dover is believed to be the nation's first school system torequire that students be exposed to the "intelligent design" concept. The policy requires school administrators to read a statement before classes on evolution that says Charles Darwin's theory is "not a fact" and has inexplicable "gaps". It refurs students to an intelligent-design textbook for more information. Intelligent design holds that Darwin's theory of natural selection over time can not fully explain the origin of life or the emergece of highly complex life forms. It implies that life was the probuct of an unidentified intelligent lifeforce. The eight families say the district policy in effect promotes the Bible's view of creation, violating the constutional separation of Church and state. But the rural students district of about 3,500 students argues it is not endorsing any religious view and is merely giving ninth-grade biology classes a glimpse of differences over evolution. "This case is about free inquiry in education, not about a religious agenda" said Patrick Gillen of the Thomas More law center in Ann Arbor Mich., in his opening statement. The center, which lobbies for what it sees as the religious freedom of Christians, is defending the school district. "Dovers modest curriculum change embodies the essence of liberal education", Gillen said. I see this as a step in the right direction.... you??? _________________ Rom. 8:38-39

I have been following this case closely. It certainly will find its way to the Supreme Court (the earthly one). Couple of points I would like to make. First, the consitution does not say anything about seperation of church and state. Paraphrasing it says the government will make not state sponsored religion. 2nd, they say there is not scientific proof to support intelligent design (creation), that also is false. Evolution has more than just gaps, it has HUGE holes in it. I believe Darwin expressed regret about his research on his deathbed. So for those that don't like "In God We Trust", perhaps you are living in the wrong country...but we through Christ love you anyway.

I agree with most of Tim's statement but there is some disagreement whether Darwin ever recanted his views with most of his family saying it didnt happen with others that were not of his family saying he did. Though it doesnt matter much to me wheter he recanted or not...It doesnt take a genius to see that creation needs a creator...and no matter how smart you are you are a fool if you dont believe in God Psalms 14:1 MKJV (1) To the Chief Musician. A Psalm of David. The fool has said in his heart, There is no God! They acted corruptly; they have done abominable works, there is none who does good.

I have been following this closely and find it very interesting. It takes more faith, scientifically, to believe in evolution than creation, in my opinion. I also have read a quote, purportedly by Darwin where he said: "…Natural selection acts only by taking advantage of slight successive variations; she can never take a great and sudden leap, but must advance by short and sure, though slow steps." [1] Thus, Darwin conceded that, "If it could be demonstrated that any complex organ existed, which could not possibly have been formed by numerous, successive, slight modifications, my theory would absolutely break down." [2] Science has absolutely proven that even the smallest bacteria or microbes are VERY COMPLEX. This was NOT KNOWN in Darwin's time. So this alone shoots his theory down. I am just amazed at how many "scientists" and educators still refuse to accept this and allow themselves to consider anything else. Truly, they are blind to the facts.

Faith is believing in the dark what God told you in the light...Remember that thing that God spoke to your heart? Hold on to that when natural circumstances and your own understanding says "It can't work...It can't be fixed now..." that is when you have to choose to believe (choose is the key word)and don't grow weary in well doing for in due season you will reap if you faint not! Believe it! The answer is on the way.

I read it all too. People choosing to believe a lie rather than to even acknoledge a Divine Creator is all just a sing of the end times. We shouldn't marvel at it. Although it does make you marvel - how long can one deny the apparent? But any way be encouraged! Look up! For your redemption draweth nigh!! Yippee.

Such as: we are pulling a float (jungle jam) in the CMU home coming parade, we'll then have a children's crusade/puppet show the next weekend, and then the weekend of Halloween - a hay ride/bon fire. Whew! I'm already tired. But it is a FUN tired. Stay in touch. Find a church to attend soon.

I read all this...and I choose to pray for all these people that don't believe that God is the creator (open their eyes and let them see the light Lord before they are all condemned to damnation), because what kind of judgement are they creating for themselves? Judge not less you be judged.

2 Cor. 4:3 says "And even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing. 4The god of this age has blinded the minds of unbelievers, so that they cannot see the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God." There is certainly a war going on in the spirit realm, and it deals with truth. I think of another scripture thats says "the entrance of thy Word bringeth light". We all need to continue to speak what the Word says about everything. It is the only remedy for spiritual blindness.

The following is a letter to a church and my car club. Its a long one, so please read fully before you resopnd, Thanks from Gods humble servent, Dave M. “For I was ashamed to require of the king a band of soldiers and horsemen to help us against the enemy in the way: because we had spoken unto the king, saying, The hand of our God is upon all them for good that seek him; but his power and his wrath is against all them that forsake him.” - Ezra 8:22 A convoy on many accounts would have been desirable for the pilgrim band, but a holy shame-facedness would not allow Ezra to seek one. He feared lest the heathen king should think his professions of faith in God to be mere hypocrisy, or imagine that the God of Israel was not able to preserve his own worshippers. He could not bring his mind to lean on an arm of flesh in a matter so evidently of the Lord, and therefore the caravan set out with no visible protection, guarded by him who is the sword and shield of his people. It is to be feared that few believers feel this holy jealousy for God; even those who in a measure walk by faith, occasionally mar the lustre of their life by craving aid from man. It is a most blessed thing to have no props and no buttresses, but to stand upright on the Rock of Ages, upheld by the Lord alone. Would any believers seek state endowments for their Church, if they remembered that the Lord is dishonoured by their asking Caesar’s aid? as if the Lord could not supply the needs of his own cause! Should we run so hastily to friends and relations for assistance, if we remembered that the Lord is magnified by our implicit reliance upon his solitary arm? My soul, wait thou only upon God. “But,” says one, “are not means to be used?” Assuredly they are; but our fault seldom lies in their neglect: far more frequently it springs out of foolishly believing in them instead of believing in God. Few run too far in neglecting the creature’s arm; but very many sin greatly in making too much of it. Learn, dear listener, to glorify the Lord by leaving means untried, if by using them thou wouldst dishonour the name of the Lord. It is in this faith, in the Lord God almighty, I ask for you to pray that His will be done in this endever before me. I have been given the vision to proclaim Gods glory to the people through the car He has given me. I am beleaving in the Lord to provide the funds to glorify His name by ministering to the lost with the help of the other members of the "Holy Rollerz Christian Car Club". I have looked up the price of the parts to do the thing He has given me, and it will cost around $12,000.00 to rebuild the car. I have given to this project all that I own at this time. To give some back ground on HRC3 (the holy rollerz christian car club), we are a group of people who beleave in the Lord God, seak the lost at car shows, give free Bibles to those who would ask, and minister to them as the Lord directs. We use the tools that our God has given us to use, the cars, our hearts and minds. At the NOPI Nationals, one of the largest car shows in the US, thay gave out 500 free Bibles, ministered to almost as many, and the Lord God blessed them with 12 of the members getting awards at the show. The awards will be published in every magazine that covers it, about 6 of them, giving God even more glory. This project, named "Project Gabriel", is for the Glory Of God. I am but a messenger of God, and as such, I am to reach the lost with the means He provides me with. In Gods gloryious name I pray, Amen. PS. Also, I am looking into a job that will help get a lot of things in my life strightened out, close to 35,000+ a year. Please pray on this also.

You know, Dave, I have been sitting on your post for a few days now, reading it over a few times, but not responding. But today, after reading it for the third time, I think, I realize that it is quite profound, and timely not only for your project but also DCM at this time. Because as you are looking for your car to glorify God in, we are beginning to have to look for a building to glorify God in. Very same principle and very same point.... it's all gotta be God!! And I learned along time ago, if God can't support His projects, then is it really God? There is some real peace in that. Our struggle is to remain very "neutral" in OUR PART of what we consider is a vision from God. So, I want to say GOOD JOB at finding this and posting this on the forum, and I do pray the Lord enables you to continue the projects. For as long as I have known you, you have been solid and quick to ALWAYS give God the glory in any accomplishment or success or blessing. And that is a good thing. I am praying today that the enemy is bound solid and petrified from trying to hinder you and your prosperity. May you accomplish your car project as its cousin, the Holy Roller was accomplished for the glory of God!

That was a great evening! I have been asking God that I may know Him more. In my spirit that night I could see that if I really, really wanted to do that, I am going to have to "romance" God. Take time to "go out" with Him more, you know "make dates" with Him and not "stand Him up" and while we are out tell Him how wonderful He is is and how much I love Him and want to spend my life with Him! I know that sounds strange coming from a man, but hey! We are going to be the bride of Christ!

That is beautiful, God so desires us to be intimate with him in every area of our life, He ask us to take him at his word, he said he holds his name above his word, he promised he would be a friend to us, a provider to us , a healer to us, husband to the husbandless a wife to the wifeless, He so desires to be our all and all, he misses the sound of our voice and when we are sad it makes him sad, its so amazinging how he loves us so, and how he sent us his son he loved me so much and how we never know how nuch it cost to see our sins up on that cross, To think that he could love med that much, the world cant offer that kind of intamacy.

Dear Brother Jesse, Thank you so much for giving of yourself to the service of Almighty God, You are a wonderful, awesome annointed Pastor, and man of God, I have so looked to you to make my heart smile from time to time over the years, Like when you said you saw my baby that i aborted in heaven, and you told me that God had forgiven me, God spoke to me through you that very day, and I gave my child a name, I call him Jayden, and released him to the care of God until eternity. At the onstart of "Hurricaine Katrina" I began to interceed and command complete annilation from the eye of that storm and the hand of the enemy going anywhere near you, and after the prayer i felt the peace of God and i knew you and your family and body of believers were safe from harms way. When you came to World Harvest on Sept. 28th 2005, Brother Jesse your the man that makes the whole world smile and when you began to cry , it broke my heart, Please keep smiling, and keep shinning and know that you can count on us, we love you and will pray you through, My God in Heaven send his mighty right arm down and lift you and your community higher than its ever been lifted before, One Day Closer To Eternity, Love Karyn Cataldo

I have been spending a lot of time in prayer recently, especially as I am in the car going back and forth to work. I know God has BIG plans for me, however recently satan has been working overtime trying to beat me down. He has tried throwing past failures, past sins, and other obstacles in my path. I must be heading down the right path for him to be doing all these things. I know he does not bother us when we are living in sin and following our own path. I must admit this earthly mind at times says "Quit, it is easier". However NOTHING worth while is usually easy. This is my prayer and I post it here to publicly declare my intentions. Lord, tonight I lay everything at your feet. My time, my talents, my money, my family (especially so)...everything that is me is now yours. Let me declare, not what can You do for me, but what can I do for You! Allow me to be a BRIGHT SHINING example for my family first of what You have given to me. Not something I earned, but a Gift you gave freely. Loose me from those remaining bonds that are holding me back from being completely Yours. Let me be a witness to bring my family and others into Your Kingdom, to life eternal. So little time remains, I must get busy NOW! I am not sure of some of the dreams I have had, however the vision remains clear of parents who failed to bring their children up to love and honor You. Parents who now are asked by workers of satan himself, to revoke their allegiance to God and seeing him use their children to this end. I am sure this probably is in the last days, perhaps during the tribulation. We do not want to give him that chance. We must bring our families first into a knowledge of Jesus Christ, because it we can't witness to them then who can we witness too? I will not rest until I make every effort to speak to all about Jesus Christ and the Gift he has for all of us. I want to be bold, unafraid to speak the truth in love. Help me to get my house in order that I may serve You in whatever way You see fit. Amen! Folks, I once heard a Pastor say years ago, that if all being SAVED did was lift that heavy burden off you shoulders then if is worth it just for that. It is MUCH more than that. Have a great week in Christ Jesus.

I think everyone who is currently watching the John Bevere series realizes how timely it is. It has REALLY got me meditating on how much MORE I could be hearing God. I hear Him, I know Him and I know His manifested presence, and I know when His presence is NOT, well, manifest. What I am getting is that most people get their instruction and marching orders from the Word, by way of knowledge of the scriptures, and this is good. However, when you know there is MORE, the chase is on! The thing I want to do most of all, personally, if fulfill that destiny God has already laid out for me. I don't want to find all the "God work" that I historically have done to be second place or second rate to what I maybe I should have been pursuing. So, what I have decided to do, is suspend any more of this work until I really hear what is God's first place will for my life and the ministry. There is a lot of good work we can all do in the Kingdom, but is it "God" work? After we get through the puppet crusade we are going to s-l-o-o-o-o-w down and take more time to draw near to Him. I hope you will join me in this, we will still have our services as normal. I am expecting to hear MORE as I draw NEAR! I believe some of you will also hear more during this time, some of your courses will be adjusted and changed and re-directed. You know, Jesus said in John 6:38 - "For I have come down from heaven, not to do My own will, but the will of Him who sent Me." And also "The Father has not left Me alone, for I always do those things that please Him (Jn 8:29).” This speaks of a CLOSE relationship with the Lord, and I know we can all do better at drawing nearer. So, let's all save ourselves unecessary work and effort and potential burnout and LISTEN to hear what He has to say. I am excited about waiting to hear some instruction and direction. How about you?

I think it sounds good too! It seems lately that it's harder for me to hear the Lord speaking to me. There's a real battle going on in my spirit at this point in my life, and it's harder for me to draw closer because of all of the satanic opposition I'm facing. However, I know that the opposition in and of itself is a direct indicator that I need to press in and draw closer to Him than ever before! The videos we're watching are <i>definitely</i> (did the HTML work?) timely! There's a breakthrough coming, and I'd say it's for anyone willing to make the push. I believe we ought to pray for each other during this time--I know I sure could use it. God bless you all! -Jason

Great news! Dr. Barclay is forging ahead with "Straight Talk For Churches" which is a monthly DVD made available upon request FREE. A church will simply receive a free will offering after watching it and send it to MBM. Personally exciting for me is that this was all initiated from an idea I had. I really believed this would be a great blessing for pastors, churches, and Dr. Barclay's ministry! I think they are even going to use a (proposed) letter that I wrote to initially introduce the program to all the pastors and churches who are hooked up to MBM. Wow! I am so excited to be able to help my pastor help others! By the way, I also offered that DCM would finance the production of the first set of DVDs as well as the mailing costs, so guess what... you get a chance to participate too! Decide what you can cheefully put into this project to bless your grand-pastor and we'll begin to collect for it. Remember, the people who know their God will do exploits! This is one of them!!! Needless to say, once a month, probably on a Sunday night, it will be "Straight Talk For Churches" night at DCM!!!

This is from some one who also has been in the past "not so on fire" as you mentioned in your reply to Jay. CHOOSE to get on fire again! On the inside (your spirit) you already want to. Don't settle for anything except to be on fire for the LORD. Your flesh will have you to believe that it is along way off and you can't do it, but in reality it is only a choice a way!....We miss ya too! Bye for now...David and Debbie

We sang; yesterday, 'Brokenness, it's what I long for', and I do because it is where God can reach in and make adjustments to our thinking and actions. BUT it has also been A reason why I've not grown as quickly as I could have. To be broken can be painful. My heart is broken at this point in time over some family issues (loved ones who are ill without excepting Christ as Lord; or others making choices that are causing pain and strife) and disappointments such as the turn out for the JJ. To say nothing of just living in this cold world. Then I cry out to God for solace and He provides a message from Pastor on lonliness and I realize I'm not lonely anymore, He shows me the beauty of new life in a picture from Singapore of my new nephew; He sends hugs and excitement by way of a grandchild's arms; He sends instruction and comfort by way of a friend; He reminds me that He hasn't caused any of these things to happen yet He is willing and able to 'fix' them all and it isn't my job. He is all I need and I can rest in Him. Don't let the things of earth shine so bright that you lose sight of the rest He has for you. Turn your eyes toward Jesus and He takes away your pain and replaces it with peace. Love you all, Debbie

Hey Deb. You reminded me of that saying I've heard, Look at yourself and you'll be depressed, look at the world, and you'll be distressed, look at Jesus and you'll be at rest. To me the beauty of living in this time, is the people God has placed in my life, we aren't alone, God is always w/ us, but then we have blessings in our children (grandchildren), spouses, family, friends, etc. Brokenness I think is just realizing without God we're broken, in Him we can be whole, and we're one with Him and complete, the Body of Christ, and we'll be reunited physically, but in the meantime we've got the Spirit, He is in us. We're living in a unique time, I think it's a privaledge in this time, b/c we're in for incredible things. God bless you, and your loved ones...I'm praying with you. ByE...

Hello DCM family (and any others that visit our site). Recently my wife went to the doctor for some pretty serious stuff. Today we had a message that she needs to call regarding some blood work that was done. Now considering we don't have any health insurance I am believing for good things to come from this regardless! However, your prayers with me are appreciated. I will update you more as I have more information. Also, the newest pic of the holy roller is on page 5 of the HR project.

This is on the revival site also http://michiganrevival.org/disc3_toc.htm#00000017 but I wanted to make sure it was being read so I am putting it here also.God wants to make a difference in this world, but He needs His people to open the door and let Him in. Are we going to answer His Call to pray and intercede? Read these scriptures. All of them.Eze 22:30 NASB (30) "I searched for a man among them who would build up the wall and stand in the gap before Me for the land, so that I would not destroy it; but I found no one. Isa 59:16 NASB (16) And He saw that there was no man, And was astonished that there was no one to intercede; Then His own arm brought salvation to Him, And His righteousness upheld Him. Isa 63:5 NASB (5) "I looked, and there was no one to help, And I was astonished and there was no one to uphold; So My own arm brought salvation to Me, And My wrath upheld Me. Eze 13:5 NASB (5) "You have not gone up into the breaches, nor did you build the wall around the house of Israel to stand in the battle on the day of the LORD. Psa 106:23 NASB (23) Therefore He said that He would destroy them, Had not Moses His chosen one stood in the breach before Him, To turn away His wrath from destroying them.------There are many more such scriptures! We must heed the words found in the book of Esther that are both a promise and a warning!Est 4:14 MKJV (14) For if you are completely silent at this time, relief and deliverance shall arise to the Jews from another place, but you and your father's house shall be destroyed. And who knows whether you have come to the kingdom for a time like this? Come on! We need to pray! Lets open our hearts to the Spirit of intercession!

I just want to praise God for answered prayer and for caring about things that are so personal to each and everyone of us! I had a scripture come to mind as I was prayin for a situation and didn't know the reference...so I just quoted the scripture and not the reference...a little later as I was reading my devotional and lookin for one of the scriptures for the day...I ended up over in a different book and thought "maybe there's something here I need to see" so I started reading some of the things that were underlined and there was the verse that had came to mind earlier. I was ecstatic and just smiled and praised God for showing me that!!

Hey all. I just got done reading an exerpt of Anne Rice's new book "Christ, the Lord". She was on the Early Show on CBS this morning and talking about her book and her conversion/return to the Catholic church and Christianity. I wanted to see what the book was like. She wrote it in the first person as Jesus at 7 yrs old. Now, I know that it isn't factual in as much as just the exerpt I read showed Jesus cursing a boy dead and then raising him and Jesus never did anything like that until the wedding when he was grown, but I was wondering something...is it wrong for her to write that way? I mean, is there such a thing as putting a writer's "spin" on a story about Jesus or is it blasphemous? I didn't feel comfortable reading what I did, I kept thinking "well that couldn't happen" and I know what the Bible says about when Jesus starting working miracles, but if you don't look for the facts and just read it as a story is that wrong? Is it possible that people who DON'T know the truth about Jesus's life, according the the Bible, will be mislead by this book? If you guys wanna check the exerpt out, it is at www.cbsnews.com then click on the Early Show and it will be right there. Just wondering what you guys thought! :) Love you bunches and bunches!!

Funny, I just processed that book for our browsing collection here in the Library. I wondered what perception of Christ it took since I have not read it yet and I'm not going to read it now. I think when ever an author writes a book like that - it's an effort to diminish the diety of Christ, whether it is intentional on the author's part or not. The spirit of antichrist is prevalent in the world and is always trying to take away from the holiness, honor and glory that belong to Jesus. He was NOT merely a man, and any attempt to make Him seem so is wrong. We are all better off to read the good materials that are available to us that are written by reputable authors and ministers. You can't go wrong reading Bevere, Copeland, Barclay, and even the fictional writers like Perretti and Jerry Jenkins.

Anytime anyone writes anything that contradicts scripture even if it is only what may seem to be small point such as when miracles began in Jesus life, it is wrong. I have not read the book or seen the excerpt, but if it has what you say it has, why in the world would Jesus curse a boy to death and then raise him up again afterwards? That is not the Jesus I know.

If you are questioning these things and you profess to have an understanding of God's word, then how or why would someone without the knowledge of the word be able to judge the book? I personally wouldn't write anything but the facts about Jesus and don't see any benefit in reading anything but the facts!!! "Just the facts mam, just the facts" Satan has no new tricks, he has tried to twist the truth for eternity because it works-- look at you; believer, even you question the harm of deviating from the truth because it's just a story???? Curse the book and read the truth. Truth is spelled B I B L E!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have received a email from "Gospel for Asia" which is a wonderful organization that trains native missionaries all over Asia to work in their own countries. Please pray over this very Urgent prayer request that I have recieved from them. Dear Mr. Tremain, I am asking you today to pray for an extremely critical situation. More than 60 new believers in the Indian state of Himachal Pradesh are being threatened with death if they do not convert back to Hinduism! It is not enough that they escaped the spiritual bondage that has oppressed their people for centuries, but now radical Hindus have threatened to burn alive any Christians who do not return to their former slavery. Here is what happened: On November 4, a pastor was attacked and severely beaten by a group of militants who threatened his life. Now the same group says they will conduct a puja (ritual) on November 20 to forcefully convert the Christians in his church to Hinduism--and burn alive any who do not renounce their new faith. The pastor has filed a complaint with local police, but the area is dominated by a large temple to the Hindu god Shiva. Thousands of pilgrims come to the temple, so Hinduism is important to the local economy. It is not clear if the police will take any action to protect the Christians. What is most important now is that we pray for this situation. I urge you to pray for the protection of the men, women and children in that place who have committed their lives to Christ. Pray that God will surround them with His angels and turn back any violence. Please also pray for their attackers, that their hearts will be softened and that God will work a miracle in their lives. Imagine what a powerful force for good they could become if they surrendered their lives to the Living God instead of gods that do not hear them! Please share this request with your church and your friends. This is a spiritual battle, and only through prayer and fasting will the enemy be defeated in this stronghold. I thank you for being a part of what God is doing in Asia. Thank you, most of all, for standing with us and with our brothers and sisters in Himachal Pradesh during this challenging time. Yours for the lost of Asia, K.P. Yohannan Founder & President Gospel for Asia

Thought you guys would like this. I was gonna email it, but why forward to one when I can show you all at once. LOVE YOU!!! An elderly lady was well-known for her faith in God and for her boldness in talking about it. She would stand on her front porch daily and shout, "PRAISE THE LORD!" Next door to her lived an atheist who would get so angry at her proclamations he would shout, "There ain't no Lord!!" Hard times set in on the elderly lady and she prayed for God to send her some assistance. Once again, she stood on her porch and shouted, "PRAISE THE LORD. GOD I NEED FOOD!! I AM HAVING A HARD TIME. PLEASE LORD, SEND ME SOME GROCERIES!!" The next morning the lady went out on her porch and found a large bag of groceries and shouted, "Praise the Lord." The neighbor jumped from behind a bush and said, "Ha ha. I told you there was no Lord. I bought those groceries, God didn't." The lady started jumping up and down and clapping her hands and saying, "Praise the Lord, He not only sent me groceries but He made the devil pay for them. Praise the Lord!"

Got this from CBN:CBN.com – The spiritual seeker was asking lots of questions about Christianity—which was good. He was asking them of a friend of mine who's a mature Christian—also good. But some of my friend's answers were—how shall I put it—a bit off the wall. For instance, the seeker asked about necromancy—the practice of trying to contact the dead through witchcraft or sorcery. What did the Bible say about talking to the dead? My friend's answer: "It says you should speak very loudly because the first thing that goes when you're dead is your hearing." It wasn't the kind of answer this man expected—but it certainly got his attention. And after he stopped laughing, he stuck around to hear why the Bible condemns this evil practice.

WIGGLESWORTH on END-TIME REVIVAL:- "The WORD and the SPIRIT JOINED" NOTE: Before we get to Wigglesworth's prophecy, it is important to understand that there have been two major types of Revival in history. Before about 1900, virtually every Revival worldwide was basically a 'Repentance' Revival - with great conviction of sin and piercing preaching at the center of it. Eg. Finney, Wesley, Whitefield, etc. But after the Welsh Revival and Azusa Street in 1904-1906, tongues and healings began to be seen in more and more Revivals. The Hebrides Revival of 1949 was basically the last one of the "old" type that I have come across. It was the last one NOT to have a 'Pentecostal' emphasis, so to speak. My research shows that after 1950, pretty much every major Revival worldwide has been a "miracles, tongues and healings" type Revival. The rise of the US 'Healing Revival' and Charismatic movement also coincided with this. God had instigated a new era. As far as I know, all major Revivals today are of the Spirit-filled 'Pentecost' type. This has been the case for decades now. But the thing that makes Wigglesworth's 1947 prophecy so significant is this: What I believe is coming is a joining of the two types. -Piercing 'Finney'-type preaching along with miracles and healings. -Very powerful. This is probably a combination that the world has not seen since the Book of Acts. Below is Wigglesworth's prophecy relating to this. God bless you all. -Andrew Strom. -------------------------------------------- A prophecy attributed to Smith Wigglesworth in 1947: "During the next few decades there will be two distinct moves of the Holy Spirit across the church in Great Britain. The first move will affect every church that is open to receive it, and will be characterised by a restoration of the baptism and gifts of the Holy Spirit. "The second move of the Holy Spirit will result in people leaving historic churches and planting new churches. "In the duration of each of these moves, the people who are involved will say, 'This is a great revival.' But the Lord says, 'No, neither is the great revival but both are steps towards it.' "When the new church phase is on the wane, there will be evidence in the churches of something that has not been seen before: a coming together of those with an emphasis on the word and those with an emphasis on the Spirit. When the word and the Spirit come together, there will be the biggest move of the Holy Spirit that the nation, and indeed, the world has ever seen. It will mark the beginning of a revival that will eclipse anything that has been witnessed within these shores, even the Wesleyan and Welsh revivals of former years...."

Water Baptism - Here we go! Here is some study verses for you. At the end is what I think is a pretty good summary from one of my commentaries. Bottom line, it is something you need to do, especially if you have never been. Matt 3:5-8 Matt 3:11 Matt 3:13-16 Matt 21:25 Mark 1:4-5 Mark 1:8-10 Mark 11:30 Luke 3:7-8 Luke 3:12 Luke 3:21 Luke 7:29-30 Luke 20:4 John 1:25-26 John 1:28 John 1:31 John 1:33 John 3:23 John 10:40 Acts 1:5 Acts 1:22 Acts 10:37 Acts 11:16 Acts 19:3-4 BAPTISM The recipients of Christian baptism are all those who make a presumably sincere profession of repentance of sin and of faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, the Saviour; together with the children of such believing parents. The requirements are set forth in the accounts given us of the performance of the rite in the New Testament, in which we see how the apostles obeyed the commands of their Master. Jesus had ordered them to "make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them into the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit" (Matt 28:19)-to "preach the gospel to the whole creation. He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that disbelieveth shall be condemned" (Mark 16:15-16). The apostle Peter said to the inquirers on the Day of Pentecost, "Repent ye, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ unto the remission of your sins; and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit"; and 3,000 were added to the church through the initiatory rite of baptism. The Samaritans, who believed on Jesus through the preaching of Philip, were admitted to the Christian community through baptism; though in this case one of the baptized, Simon Magus, after his reception, was found to be still in "the bond of iniquity" (Acts 8:12,23). The jailer and all his, Lydia and her household, at Philippi, were baptized by Paul on his and her profession of faith on Jesus, the Saviour. There is no evidence in any of the accounts we have of apostolic baptisms that any prolonged course of instruction was thought to be necessary; nothing of classes for catechumens such as we find in the early church by the close of the 2nd century, or in modern missionary enterprise. We find no mention of baptismal creeds, declarative or interrogative, in the New Testament accounts of baptisms. The profession of faith in the Lord Jesus, the Saviour, made by the head of the family appears, so far as the New Testament records afford us information, to have been sufficient to secure the baptism of the "household"-a word which in these days included both servants and children. The following is a statement of faith, from Ted Haggard, he ministers to the White House and the President, is the President of the Evangelicals, I think it is, but if you check it out towards the bottom is what he says on H20 baptism. STATEMENT OF FAITH Holy Bible: The Holy Bible, and only the Bible, is the authoritative Word of God. It alone is the final authority for determining all doctrinal truths. In its original writing, the Bible is inspired, infallible and inerrant (see Prov. 30:5; Rom. 16:25,26; 2 Tim. 3:16; 2 Pet. 1:20,21). Trinity: There is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son (Jesus) and Holy Spirit. These three are coequal and co-eternal (see Gen. 1:26; Isa. 9:6; Matt. 3:16,17; 28:19; Luke 1:35; Heb. 3:7-11; 1 John 5:7). Jesus Christ: Jesus Christ is God the Son, the second person of the Trinity. On earth, Jesus was 100 percent God and 100 percent man. He is the only man ever to have lived a sinless life. He was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, performed miracles, died on the cross for humankind and, thus, atoned for our sins through the shedding of His blood. He rose from the dead on the third day according to the Scriptures, ascended to the right hand of the Father, and will return again in power and glory (see Isa. 9:6; John 1:1,14; 20:28; Phil. 2:5,6; 1 Tim. 2:5; 3:16). Virgin Birth: Jesus Christ was conceived by God the Father, through the Holy Spirit (the third person of the Trinity) in the virgin Mary’s womb; therefore, He is the Son of God (see Isa. 7:14; Matt. 1:18,23-25; Luke 1:27-35). Redemption: Humanity was created good and upright, but by voluntary transgression, it fell. Humanity’s only hope for redemption is in Jesus Christ, the Son of God (see Gen. 1:26-31; 3:1-7; Rom. 5:12-21). Regeneration: For anyone to know God, regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential (see John 6:44,65). Salvation: We are saved by grace through faith in Jesus Christ: His death, burial and resurrection. Salvation is a gift from God, not a result of our good works or of any human effort (see Rom. 10:9,10; Acts 16:31; Gal. 2:16; 3:8; Eph. 2:8,9; Titus 3:5; Heb. 9:22). Repentance: Repentance is the commitment to turn away from sin in every area of our lives and to follow Christ, which allows us to receive His redemption and to be regenerated by the Holy Spirit. Thus, through repentance we receive forgiveness of sins and appropriate salvation (see Acts 2:21; 3:19; 1 John 1:9). Sanctification: Sanctification is the ongoing process of yielding to God’s Word and His Spirit in order to complete the development of Christ’s character in us. It is through the present ministry of the Holy Spirit and the Word of God that the Christian is enabled to live a godly life (see Rom. 8:29; 12:1,2; 2 Cor. 3:18; 6:14-18; 1 Thess. 4:3; 5:23; 2 Thess. 2:1-3; Heb. 2:11). Jesus’ Blood: The blood that Jesus Christ shed on the cross of Calvary was sinless and is 100 percent sufficient to cleanse humankind from all sin. Jesus allowed Himself to be punished for both our sinfulness and our sins, enabling all those who believe to be free from the penalty of sin, which is death (see John 1:29; Rom. 3:10-12,23; 5:9; Col. 1:20; 1 John 1:7; Rev. 1:5; 5:9). Jesus Christ Indwells All Believers: Christians are people who have invited the Lord Jesus Christ to come and live inside them by His Holy Spirit. They relinquish the authority of their lives over to Him, thus making Jesus the Lord of their lives as well as Savior. They put their trust in what Jesus accomplished for them when He died, was buried and rose again from the dead (see John 1:12; 14:17,23; 15:4; Rom. 8:11; Rev. 3:20). Baptism in the Holy Spirit: Given at Pentecost, the baptism in the Holy Spirit is the promise of the Father. It was sent by Jesus after His Ascension to empower the Church to preach the gospel throughout the whole earth (see Joel 2:28,29; Matt. 3:11; Mark 16:17; Acts 1:5; 2:1-4,17,38,39; 8:14-17; 10:38,44-47; 11:15-17; 19:1-6). The Gifts of the Holy Spirit: The Holy Spirit is manifested through a variety of spiritual gifts to build and sanctify the Church, demonstrate the validity of the resurrection and confirm the power of the gospel. The lists of these gifts in the Bible are not necessarily exhaustive, and the gifts may occur in various combinations. All believers are commanded to earnestly desire the manifestation of the gifts in their lives. These gifts always operate in harmony with the Scriptures and should never be used in violation of biblical parameters (see Rom. 1:11; 12:4-8; 1 Cor. 12:1-31; 14:1-40; Eph. 4:16; 1 Tim. 4:14; 2 Tim. 1:5-16; Heb. 2:4; 1 Pet. 4:10). The Church: The Church is the Body of Christ, the habitation of God through the Spirit, with divine appointments for the fulfillment of Jesus’ Great Commission. Every person born of the Spirit is an integral part of the Church as a member of the Body of believers. There is a spiritual unity of all believers in our Lord Jesus Christ (see John 17:11,20-23; Eph. 1:22; 2:19-22; Heb. 12:23). Two Sacraments: Water Baptism: Following faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, the new convert is commanded by the Word of God to be baptized in water in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit (see Matt. 28:19; Acts 2:38).4 The Lord’s Supper: A unique time of communion in the presence of God when the elements of bread and grape juice (the body and blood of the Lord Jesus Christ) are taken in remembrance of Jesus’ sacrifice on the cross. (See Matt. 26:26-29; Mark 16:16; Acts 8:12,36-38; 10:47,48; 1 Cor. 10:16; 11:23-26). Healing of the Sick: Healing of the sick is illustrated in the life and ministry of Jesus, and included in the commission of Jesus to His disciples. It is given as a sign that is to follow believers. It is also a part of Jesus’ work on the cross and one of the gifts of the Spirit (see Ps. 103:2,3; Isa. 53:5; Matt. 8:16,17; Mark 16:17,18; Acts 8:6,7; Rom. 11:29; 1 Cor. 12:9,28; Jas. 5:14-16). God’s Will for Provision: It is the Father’s will for believers to become whole, healthy and successful in all areas of life. But because of the fall, many may not receive the full benefits of God’s will while on earth. That fact, though, should never prevent all believers from seeking the full benefits of Christ’s provision in order to serve others. Spiritual (see John 3:3-11; Rom. 10:9,10; 2 Cor. 5:17-21). Mental and emotional (see Isa. 26:3; Rom. 12:2; Phil. 4:7,8; 2 Tim. 1:7; 2:11). Physical (see Isa. 53:4,5; Matt. 8:17; 1 Pet. 2:24). Financial (see Deut. 28:1-14; Josh. 1:8; Ps. 34:10; 84:11; Mal. 3:10,11; Luke 6:38; 2 Cor. 9:6-10; Phil. 4:19). Resurrection: Jesus Christ was physically resurrected from the dead in a glorified body three days after His death on the cross. As a result, both the saved and the lost will be resurrected—they that are saved to the resurrection of life, and they that are lost to the resurrection of eternal damnation (see Luke 24:16,36,39; John 2:19-21; 20:26-28; 21:4; Acts 24:15; 1 Cor. 15:42,44; Phil. 1:21-23; 3:21). Heaven: Heaven is the eternal dwelling place for all believers in the gospel of Jesus Christ (see Matt. 5:3,12,20; 6:20; 19:21; 25:34; John 17:24; 2 Cor. 5:1; Heb. 11:16; 1 Pet. 1:4). Hell: After living one life on earth, the unbelievers will be judged by God and sent to hell where they will be eternally tormented with the devil and the fallen angels (see Matt. 25:41; Mark 9:43-48; Heb. 9:27; Rev. 14:9-11; 20:12-15; 21:8). Second Coming: Jesus Christ will physically and visibly return to earth for the second time to establish His kingdom. This will occur at a date undisclosed by the Scriptures (see Matt. 24:30; 26:63,64; Acts 1:9-11; 1 Thess. 4:15-17; 2 Thess. 1:7,8; Rev. 1:7).

I haven't been here in awhile. A lot of this stuff really makes you think, especially the links. It makes me want to do some research on my own concerning revivals. It also makes me want to set a goal to get on here at least once a week. This wasn't my reason for getting on, but now that I'm here, I'd like to mention it...My sister has a friend named Pam. (She's been to our church once before.) Pam is the single mother of Skylee, who is a year old, and Pam doesn't have any money to buy Skylee anything for Christmas. Her parents recently went bankrupt and can't help her out, so she's thinking she'll just wrap up some of the toys Skylee already has and give them to her for Christmas. My sister and I are going to anonymously help out a little and I thought I'd mention it here so that if anyone feels led to help out with presents or money, they can let me know. Either way, be blessed and I'll see most of you tonight as we attend the Leadership Conferences, prepared for a mighty move of God!

Happy Birthday!

Dear Family & Friends, As you well know, we are getting closer to my birthday. Every year there is a celebration in my honor and I think that this year the celebration will be repeated. During this time there are many people shopping for gifts, there are many radio announcements, TV commercials, and in every part of the world everyone is talking that my birthday is getting closer and closer. It is really very nice to know, that at least once a year, some people think of me. As you know, the celebration of my birthday began many years ago. At first people seemed to understand and be thankful of all that I did for them, but in these times, no one seems to know the Reason for the celebration. Family and friends get together and have a lot of fun, but they don't know the meaning of the celebration. I remember that last year there was a great feast in my honor. The dinner table was full of delicious foods, pastries, fruits, assorted nuts and chocolates. The decorations were exquisite and there were many, many beautifully wrapped gifts. But, do you want to know something? I wasn't invited. I was the guest of honor and they didn't remember to send me an invitation. The party was for me, but when that great day came, I was left outside, they closed the door in my face .. And I wanted to be with them and share their table. Truth, that didn't surprise me because in the last few years all close their doors to me. Since I wasn't invited, I decided to enter the party without making any noise. I went in and stood in a corner. They were all drinking; there were some who were drunk and telling jokes and laughing at everything. They were having a grand time. To top it all, this big fat man all dressed in red wearing a long white beard entered the room yelling Ho-Ho-Ho! He seemed drunk. He sat on the sofa and all the children ran to him, saying: "Santa Claus, Santa Claus" as if the party were in his honor! At midnight all the people began to hug each other; I extended my arms waiting for someone to hug me and do you know no-one hugged me. Suddenly they all began to share gifts. They opened them one by one with great expectation. When all had been opened, I looked to see if , maybe, there was one for me. What would you feel if on your birthday everybody shared gifts and you did not get one? I then understood that I was unwanted at that party and quietly left. Every year it gets worse. People only remember the gifts, the parties, to eat and drink, and nobody remembers me. I would like this Christmas that you allow me to enter into your life. I would like that you recognize the fact that almost two thousand years ago I came to this world to give my life for you, on the cross, to save you. Today, I only want that you believe this with all your heart. I want to share something with you. As many didn't invite me to their party, I will have my own celebration, a grandiose party that no one has ever imagined, a spectacular party. I'm still making the final arrangements.. Today I am sending out many invitations and there is an invitation for you. I want to know if you wish to attend and I will make a reservation for you nd write your name with golden letters in my great guest book. Only those on the guest list will be invited to the party. Those who don't answer the invite, will be left outside. Be prepared because when all is ready you will be part of my great party. See you soon. I Love you! Jesus

7 "Ups" for Your Life by Lindsay Roberts The Lord recently gave me a message on 7 things—I call them 7 “Ups”—that we can do on a regular basis to help keep us lifted up to Him. Those 7 Ups are: pray up, show up, hush up, speak up, cheer up, look up, and hook up with Jesus. Pray Up. In Ephesians 6, Paul tells us to pray always, which I believe means that we’re to be in a constant attitude of prayer—praying for ourselves and our loved ones, as well as praying for others. But I love verse 19 AMP, where Paul adds, And [pray] also for me, that [freedom of] utterance may be given me, that I may open my mouth to proclaim boldly the mystery of the good news (the Gospel). How great it would be if every time we opened our mouths to pray, the words would be given to us to boldly speak of the goodness of God. Isn’t that a wonderful way to pray and to keep our focus on the Lord, rather than on ourselves? As Christians, we have a job to do. And if we’re going to bring in the end-time harvest of souls, I believe we need to stay prayed up. I believe that’s the way to begin getting all these areas of our lives to fall into place. For as Matthew 6:33 says, when we seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness—His way of doing and being—then other things will be added unto us.

Hey everyone! I just wanted to let you all know that I'm doing great! I'm celebrating my 21st birthday next week! This year is going to be the best, mainly because I'm going to be able to spend it with my dad. It's been awesome with the holidays lately because it's been a loooong time (since like 98) since I have spent a holiday with him. I hope you all are doing well! Grandma and GRandpa Tremain, I got your card! Thank you very much! I love you all, and I will talk to you later! Love always, KC

So this is just an allegory, least that's why I reckon they call it... and i'm sure you may have heard it, but it's a cute illustration so wanted to share nevertheless. So there's this dog owner/breeder who trains his dogs to fight, he's got a black dog and white dog... and he always knows which one is going to win, when pitted against eachother. How does he know? Simple really! He feeds one and starves the other. This is just a reminder to all of us earthlings who know Jesus, about keeping your head above water, and I liked it, thought you may as well. Feed the Spirit, read the Word, pray, go to church, etc..etc..listen to christian music, whatever... Starve the flesh... don't feed into the hype of the world, of being selfish etc, feeding on the garbage can of the world. Of corse, don't get out of balance with it, but take it and run with it, if you want. =) Have a great week, all of you, who are reading this.

I ruling just came down in a U.S. District Court in Pennsylvania forbidding teaching an Intelligent Design theory, as well as forbidding teachers to denigrate and disparage the evolution theory. I'm kind of a simple guy so I had to look those words up and it means no teacher can be required to criticize, belittle or run down evolution theory. They stopped just short of saying a teacher could not present anything that contradicted evolution, even if it was scientific, if it would put it down. "Thinking themselves wise they became fools".

Have you noticed that the word "theory" seems to get lost these days when people talk about evolution? Yet when people give good scientific facts they throw it out the door without a "real" hearing of the facts!

I read somewhere how it's our responsibility to educate our children, and that was the reason for the first schools, i could very well be mistaken, but to learn to read, so kid's could read the Bible, that sounds so sci-fi or out there, in our world today, but yeah, that was supposedly the roots of our education system, now the public schools are pretty much teaching human secularism, and even condoning homosexuality in some cases, and other crud... man the world out there, today, makes me pray more and trust God more...

Another long one, but I really see great meaning here. From Andrew Strom's emails...................................VISION: "Disarming the Irregulars" -by Wolfgang Simson (-Nov 2003). The THREE BOOTHS I saw a long line of newly-saved people entering the Kingdom of God. Everything was new for them, so there were three booths set up for them to pass through. At the first booth, they would sign up for God's army and pledge total loyalty to God. From then on, they were under orders, no longer their own, and were given a uniform and boots. At the second booth, they were given a sword, and at the third, a scythe - a harvesting tool. Astonishingly, only around one in a thousand of the new arrivals even went to the first booth; almost everyone went to the second stand, and almost everyone also ignored the third stand. Almost nobody went to all three stands, as God explicitly intended. The IRREGULARS Everyone hurried directly to a huge plain full of people and activity. Under an enormous dust cloud thrown up by the many feet, small groups quickly formed and were joined by the new arrivals. These countless groups made themselves banners, flags and uniforms decorated with very creative logos and emblems. It was an incredible colorful confusion of thousands of small militia. In other words, an irregular army. The chaos was complete; some blew for attack, others for retreat. Some acted out bizarre rituals, others sat around the camp fire laughing. Some practiced sword fighting, others gathered their weapons and spoke of peace. Some of the groups even attacked each other. It was a scene of hectic activity, but without any recognizable order. Generals cooked, cooks were pilots, pilots dug trenches. I was horrified, and saw clearly that this army would never win any battle. Everyone was terribly busy, but all the zealous action came to nothing in the long term. The ANGELS Suddenly someone shouted "The Angels of God are coming!" They were right: some way off, I could make out a huge number of God's white warriors; powerful, almost larger-than-life angels. The people broke out in an ear-shattering shout and cheer, "Hallelujah, the angels are coming. At last, it's about to begin!" The cheering was indescribable. But the excitement slowly faded, and the shouts of 'hallelujah' died out. Finally, silence descended. Then I looked at the angels more carefully. Standing close together, they looked like a police cordon in front of a crowd of hooligans, with set, sad faces. Step by step the white phalanx slowly approached the motley crowd. Consternation spread, and some of the banners began to retreat. Pale-faced, the people stumbled backwards, shocked and unable to comprehend what was happening. In their shock, some even lost their swords and pennants. The mass of people were driven back into a large valley without exits as the rows of angels slowly but deliberately advanced. The people were finally trapped in the valley like sheep. Some began to cry, others called out to God for mercy, yet others called for help. Most were simply silent. At last, a huge angel stepped forward and said in a voice loud enough to be heard in the farthest corners of the valley, "That is enough! You have done as you please for long enough. End the war you declared yourselves. Submit to your God. Lay down the banners and flags you made yourselves. Take off the uniforms and boots you were given, as well as the insignia you created. Repent, because you have been disobedient. Lay everything on the ground beside you and kneel to ask your Father to forgive you. In His mercy, he will grant you a fresh start." The people froze. Astonished disbelief spread through the crowd. Some started to talk, some even started shouting "Pay no attention to them! Listen to me!" But some began to understand. A few sobbed. One or two started to remove their insignia, lay down their banners and flags, take off their uniform and kneel in the dust, asking God for forgiveness for their disobedience. Whenever another person knelt - or even an entire group - an angel left the phalanx, took what the person had laid down, and carried it out to the plain, slowly creating a huge mound of banners, flags and uniforms. The angel then returned to the kneeling person, both as a sign and a guard, because some of the people who had not yet understood what was happening were angry, shouting "Traitors! Deserters!" at those who knelt, ordering them to return to their militia. The number of stubborn rebels and militia leaders shrank continuously as more people recognized that they had been incredibly misguided and laid down their uniforms and weapons. Finally, after a long time, everyone was kneeling. The angels set the huge mound of uniforms, banners and flags alight, and everyone watched transfixed as the once so precious possessions vanished in the flames. When the fire had burned down, the angel spoke again in a very gentle voice, saying "Now stand up and follow us. Let's start over again." A New START The people stood up, naked, without a uniform, but their shame covered by the angel at their side who led them back to the point at which they had entered the Kingdom of God. This time, each person went slowly and deliberately to the first booth to write their name in the army register before receiving a new uniform and boots with no insignia. The angel then took them to the second booth, where they received a sword, symbolizing the Word of God. They then went on to the third and final booth, where they were given harvesting tools and a clearly-defined task and position. The angel then took them to a clearly defined position on the plain, where he instructed "his" person to assume his personal position and obey God's battle orders. The angel then left. With time, an incredibly powerful army formed. Everyone was in the right place and knew exactly what his job was. Nobody did what seemed right in their own eyes, but paid great attention to their own task and function. I saw joy, but also wild determination, written on the people's faces. That was the end of the 'film' for me. I had tears in my eyes, and was both horrified and thankful. At the end of my talk that evening, I decided to recount my vision just as I have written it here. CLINT TOEWS Clint Toews is a Canadian prophet and author from Winnipeg. He stood up at just that moment, explaining that he had planned to speak at another church in Toronto, but that God had redirected him, telling him to be where I would speak, and that he had a prophetic word for the moment. I do not allow just any 'prophet' to take the microphone, so checked with my friend Dr. Ken Stade, also from Winnipeg, who led the meeting. He agreed that Clint should speak. Clint said that God has a very simple message to us all. It is written in Joshua 5:13-14. Shortly before conquering Jericho, Joshua encounters an unknown man armed with a sword. He approaches the man and asks "Are you for us or for our enemies?" The man answered "No!". Clint exclaimed "This 'NO!' is God's answer to our unspoken question about when he will join our project, our plan, fellowship, church, outreach, even our war. God will not join our human plans, and particularly not our church. It is He who builds His church. So, 'No!' But if we repent, confess our pride, our pitiful denominationalism and favoritism, and kneel down and remove our shoes because we recognize that Jesus is standing before us, the Commander of the Lord's army, then he will again assume the command which we have usurped. If we then take the place he assigns us and follow His commands, victory will come quickly; Jericho is a historic example. The honor for God's victories will then no longer go to some banner, flag, denomination, missions agency or terrific plan to save the world, but to the Lamb of God alone, Jesus Christ."

This so much reminds me of the church of today. Especially the part of all the groups on the plain. Everyone is flying their own banner, doing their own thing. So many different ministries, when God ordained that we should all be "one". Sure, all churches (supposedly)want people saved, a place to worship and hear the Word. But there are so many methods and pet doctrines that it seems impossible to work together. I believe within church leadership there is way more a spirit of competition than there is cooperation. And the problem is more with leadership than it is the sheep. Sheep naturally follow; it is up to the leaders to get in the proper position with their authorities, both human and divine. In summary, this vision really spoke to my heart. I can see me (in this vision) as one down with all the troops looking around at all the chaos, and I HATE chaos. I would be trying to organize my small troop and ordering them to stand at attention. But it is hard with all the things going on around us. I would be (and will now!) looking at waiting for the angels (messengers) of God to get us straightened out, get the truth to us, organize us, equip us, and get us standing at attention and awaiting orders! Wow, I hope everyone takes a good look at this vision. May the correct marching orders come, in Jesus's name!

So shut up and march, soldier! Just kidding (maybe not)! The preceding "vison" is kind of a global picture of our area, I believe, and accurate. For my "platoon" we need to concentrate on planting the Word into people, going back and watering those same people, and harvesting those people! There are over 63,000 people in Isabella County. Only 10% go to church. The fields are ripe. There are many souls slipping into Hell constantly. Many are heading there fast. We need to build a House FOR God, not OF God. Be serious about entering the building, focus, focus, focus. Listen to the Spirit of God, doing what ministry needs to take place to TOUCH PEOPLE, the most important commodity of God. Too many people even in our group come in and out like it is not a serious thing. In our setting, every single person who comes through our door needs to be treated like the eternal human spirit that they are, and ministered to accordingly. Even as I write this, I feel the same Holy Ghost indignation rise up from within me that I have felt for years since I came here. It never seems to have left me. Quit lookng at what the Preacher wants and needs and decide what God needs and wants. What God wants to see is people in our group almost in the travail stage for people who find themselves around us. Where is the burden for souls? Where is the passion for evangelism? I don't want to call people stupid, but the church grows through the recruitment of souls. No recruitment and atrition will kill it off. I am not interested in collecting people for the sake of collecting people. I am not into taking someone else's castoffs and recruiting and promoting them. I prayed that God would prune us and He has. I have prayed that He would deliver me from unreasonable and wicked people and He has been gracious to do that as well. Is He done? Not sure. Time will tell. I am mainly interested in winning souls, recovering of the backslidden. I need people who are SERIOUS about being in this army, not for the sake of calling themselves soldiers, but because they come to FIGHT (and not each other)! Emil, I think you are not already standing at attention, but you are fighting a good fight everyday. Jesus is on your mind, His Word is in your heart. You have read books, watched videos, studied, are memorizing scriptures, bought and used soul winning materials. You are in constant learning mode. You are passionate for TRUTH to the point of being offensive to some. You are my kind of people! May the Lord grant me a hundred more like you, though more than part time due to your schedule. God bless you, may you stay in hot, passionate God-chasing mode til He comes back for all of us!

that's so funny, not literally, but i just seen something on TCT alive or live the other night, and it was youth pastors and youth, and they were very exited and fired up about God, and basically one very articulate and passionate youth pastor said that there are many people in our generation ready and willing, like you Emil, thank God, it seems this generation wants the REAL DEAL, not fake or fluff, or smoke and mirrors, we want GOD, to shine through and have His way... i'm sure everybody that confesses Jesus does, but sometimes people are set in their ways a bit. i'm proud to be in this generation and to live in this time, i think we have the heart, to face and go through what we need to, submit and fulfill His plan. The big key, i think, is learning to hear from Him and simply obeying, praying and hearing and obeying..., praying hearing and obeying... God bless you and your family, this Christmas, as well as everyone else.. Stay safe and blessed in '06 and spread His name, peace, love and joy, point to the cross, and Resurrection, point to our God and Savior.... Love, & Prayers, Melissa

there's a really good read, called the Army of God, (i'm pretty sure...I've got a copy of the book, just can't find it at the moment) but it's by Rick Joyner, who I know some of you are familiar with, and it discusses a lot of the same, that Pastor Chuck mentioned in his recent posts on that vision. Just in case, anyone wants to dig deeper in that area, it's a really good book, and Rick Joyner flows in the prophetic and is "legitimate" not fluff.

I wanted to attatch a file here, it's this christmas newsletter i made with pictures of the kids & stuff, but I dunno? how... so maybe later... But I wanted to post some praise, for one, I had a really NICE experience, touch from God this past year, and it was worth repeating, it's a testimony, though I have yet to go back to confirm that, and show the Doctor, and have him examine my nose... But I was at a healing service earlier this year, a minister named Joseph Morris from out of Tulsa was here in Mt. Pleasant, and I went to a service, he called out a problem with a septum, now I went hoping, and semi-expecting God to help me where neccesary, b/c I've enjoyed some awesome things since receiving Jesus, but not everything He has for me, quite yet, but anyway, so I went up, b/c I had broken my nose, and never got it treated when I was around 12 or so. It bothered me to the extent, I had some breathing problems, and sinus problems, aches and pains in my nose, and my sense of smell was pretty null, my nose was crooked. I went up to the altar and received prayer from that anointed man of God, and while I was up there, I shut my eyes, and waiting patiently, I began to smell this really potent strong fragrance, it was like royalty, it was like frankincense and myrrh, it was beautiful and heavenly and VERY potent, very strong... Right away, b/c I'm a radical believer (at least in faith)well, I thought, wow, this is God's Presence... I felt really privaledged to smell Him, and I went back to my seat, basking in His presence. I leaned over and told Warren, "I smelt Jesus" ( I was a little disoriented, and awed) An hour later at the coffee shop I was trying to wrap my mind around this, how big God is, and Wow. that I was so near Him it was great! a real aha moment. Well, later I talked to someone involved at the ministry where this guest minister came, and he wasn't using anointing oil, so for me that confirmed that it was a manifestation of not only the healing that took place in my nose, but also of God's anointed fragrant presence. It was wonderful, and since I've heard of other testimonies like that.. For me, that experience motivated me to draw nearer and nearer and get closer to God, It was such a lovely fragrance, and He is such a Holy God, He is the most attractive being ever, nothing compares or comes close to God, He's the greatest, He is love, and Hallelujah, I'm glad He saved me, and doesn't give up on me, and He's faithful..and GOOD. Thank You Father, I love ya. Also, my nose is 100% better, i plan to go back to Dr. Chomchai, and show Him that "I know a doctor who no longer practices", that Jesus healed me. Another nice thing about this year, was that Warren went to a worship conference in Colorado through New Life Church, Pastor Ted Haggard, Reuben Morgan of HillSong, and other worship leaders were there, it was called Enter in, it was such a blessing to me and the kids, through Warren going with a group, b/c it was a powerful time, and what's so neat about it, to me is that God is breaking out of the molds, through His people, for instance they've got an art ministry, there, which I've heard of in other places, where artists can create work, to glorify God and do it through the anointing, i think it's awesome, b/c i'm also an artist... and this freedom is great, God is not into the religious thing, IMHO, He's Creative and He made us that way too, we all have our niches. God bless you's all, love and prayers in the coming year... Melissa A.

I have been meditating on this verse of the bible and have come to the conclusion that this fruit is the grace of God. This fruit has been made available to them that put there trust in Him. The word fruit, in this context means "fruit as plucked", you see all that fruit at the grocery store?, thats fruit as plucked, in your hand, of the Spirit...Holy Spirit. The greek for fruit in this context is Karpos(2590) which is probably from the base of the greek word Harpazo(726) which means to seize, catch, pluck, pull, take. And the word Harpazo was derived from the greek word Haireomai(138) which means to take for one self, that is to perfer or to choose. Probabily similar to the greek word Airo(142) which means to lift, to take up or take away, bear up, carry. I believe God is trying to tell us to draw on His Spirit in our times of need. Not that we are the fruit and need to mature our fruit. The Strongs Subject Guide defines this script as figuritvely speaking of "Gods Graces" Hallelujah! Gods unmeritted favour eh! Simply, Gods help. The fruit is always abundent and overflowing. Always availible. For those who trust in Him. God bless ya. Love the Lord and love your neighbour eh, as yourself.

Interesting. I had a couple more thoughts. He is the Vine, and we are the branches. On the end of a healthy branch there will be, what? Fruit, that SOMEONE can seize or take! Of course it is the result of being hooked up to Jesus, the source of the Spirit that flows through the branches into the fruit. Also, in Eph, 5:9 "(for the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness, righteousness, and truth)" NKJV I like this, the fruit of the the Spirit IS IN all goodness, righteousness and truth. Like in as these qualities are generated from our lives, fruit is produced! Also Gal 6 talks about the fruit again, in context of Christians who crucify the flesh with its passion and desires. Fruit will be produced.

Praise God brother, thats what I'm talking about. The key being hooked up to Jesus, the source of the Spirit that flows through us, the branches. The point being that it is nothing in or of ourselves that make us good, rightous or truthful, but it is the Spirit of God. What gracious God we serve. Hallelujah! God bless.

Warren i have respect for you as a musician, i love you man but teaching isn't your thing. Pastor wasn't in agreement with you, he was trying to gently nudge you away from a doctrinal error. Grace is not fruit and fruit is not grace; much like a highway is not a car and car is not a highway, they work in connection with eachother but are completely seperate. Grace is a gift from God, it is the ability to serve Him acceptably(Heb12:28). Grace is also His favor, it is also a standard to which we that are not under the law must submit ourselves to and be sure attain(Mat5). Fruit is somthing we bear to Him, it is the service we render. In Galations 5:21 you will find that "those who practice" the fruits of the flesh are in big trouble. Did you see that? We actively 'practice' fruit. The word 'bear' is a verb, unless it has sharp teeth, fur, and likes salmon. A verb denotes action. Just because the tree isn't gritting its teeth and grunting doesn't mean it isn't doing anything. The whole reason the metaphor of fruit is used is because we have to take in the nutrients, soke up the sun (or son) and actively persivere to bear forth the qualities of Jesus. The christian walk is not a passive 'fruit happens' lifestyle. Peter brings this out quite well in his second letter. He tells us not only to add these things, but also to be diligent not to be unfruitful(2Pet 1:5-8). The Galations list of Spiritual fruit is immediatly followed with the note that those who belong to Christ have crucified(verb) the flesh, and the admonition to live(verb) and walk(verb) in the Spirit. Yes it is all about being hooked up to Jesus, but it requires effort on our part. Even 'abiding' is a verb and means we have a job to do in staying in His 'good graces'. We must BEAR the fruit; bear does not mean display, it means grow. And we are not the main beneficeary either. The fruit has a personal benefit, certainly, but it is meant mainly for others. These others are the 'someone' that pastor was speaking of. Love others, be patient and kind to others, be faithful to others, control yourself so as not to hurt others, ect. You will find few trees at the grocery store squeezing oranges; they grow the fruit, you and i eat it. The verses Pastor was refering to in Ephesians 5 (:8-9), makes the point that the fruit IS IN goodness, righteousness, and truth; it IS IN walking. "Walk as children of the Light" means live like Jesus and in so doing you will bear much fruit. I love you man but be careful not to build a doctrine on a figurative reference pertaining to one verse in a study guide.

This just came to me in prayer, what's even better, its scriptural(Gen 1:29); Praise God! Its not just that a tree is in some sort of labor to bear fruit, its that bearing fruit is the tree's whole job. Bearing fruit is its entire purpose. Sure they make O2, but that is just a byproduct. And yes they look nice, but their effectual role is not not, per se, scenery. Their seed is, in fact, in the fruit. It is in bearing our fruit that we sow the seed of the gospel. Our Spiritual specie is perpetuated in bearing fruit. Every tree's fruit yeilds seed. Praise God! Let's be fruitful and multiply!

Just a reminder of what we already announced for the New Year's Day service. Our plan following the service is the potfaith (just decided I don't like the work "luck")dinner and following that a Jericho drive around Isabella County. Room in the van for 15, and others can drive with us (I have a couple of radios to use to stay in touch). Plan on coming and worshipping, praying, singing, shouting, etc. as we tread on the land, claiming it for the Lord in 2006. Remember only around 10% of the 63,000 people in this county claim a church affiliation. There are a whole lot that can be reached. It's going to be a good time! No evening service that night.

This is off of Fox news, in reference to the main character, Daniel: "Well, I'm an Episcopalian priest who struggles with a little self-medication problem, and I have a 23-year-old son who's gay, and a 16-year-old daughter who's caught dealing pot, and another son who's jumping on every high school girl he sees, and a wife who's very loving but also likes her martinis." And Aidan Quinn, who plays Daniel, says it is a "wholesome show". Plus, the writer of the show is reported to be a gay man raised in a Catholic church. Enough said.

Amen sister! I know i don't look up enough... i guess i'm really not ready to stand before Him. I think of the lyric to one of my favorite songs "we won't sit and wait for You to appear when there is so much more to do in us while we're here. So finish the work that You've begun, its obvious You're not quite done. oh Lord. Finish Your work in us!" I look up, and i wait on Him, but i'm not waiting for Him to change me. I know that i have a big role in sanctification. In Rev 21:2 we read that the bride made HERSELF ready, no groom i've ever heard of puts his brides dress on for her. So i'm workin on gettin dressed for the big day (2cor 6:16-7:1).

Yes, I did reference the fact that people have to draw the line somewhere, and if it is not God's standard, where is it? I think I said people could marry (and more!) a goat, and if there are no standards of morality, who could say it was wrong? I believe literal, unclean, perverted spirits are the cause of this.

You missed one of the most important things 'we christians' ought to be full of. It is what 'being about the Fathers buisness' is hinged upon. Holiness, without which, no one will see the Lord. The Bible tells us to work out our salvation with Fear and Trembling, not love and kindness. God said be Holy as I am Holy, not friendly as i am friendly. In 1John we read that any one who says His Spirit is abiding in him, ought to walk just as He also walked. It is a sad, scary, biblical fact that most, that is half at the least, people who call themselves 'christian' will not enter the kingdom of heaven. Remeber the 10 virgins were #1.virgins ie.unspotted ie.bloodwashed ie.'christian' and #2. waiting on their Lord. Only half made it in, the half that didn't were shocked. Remeber the guy who got into the feast but didn't meet the dress code (Matt 22)? Yup, he got tossed out. Jesus said that the day of His return would be like the day of the flood, and the only folks that made it onto the arc were the builders. The question then is what are we doing to build this last-days arc? Ask yourself, "self, what have you been doin to 'pitch' in? (get it 'pitch') Have you been a faithful lumberjack/steward/painter/evangalist/sander/sheep/plank-fitter/tither/roofer/minister(... you get the idea)? Am i doing all i can? If i knew He were coming tomorrow night, would i be doing anything differently?" The foolish virgins said but, but Lord didn't we, didn't we... Saul said but i did... God said i never knew you, you did not obey me. Imagine for just a moment, even if you know that you know that you know that you are the picture of Holiness, Godliness, the very image of Christ, just for a moment consider you are not. Consider Jesus looking you in the eyes, the heat of His stare felt thoughout your whole being. Unapproachable light calling into judgement every deed and motive, every word and thought. The Holiest of men cry out "WOE IS ME" at just a glimpse. The Sariphim that spend eternity in His presence, never cease to proclaim "HOLY, HOLY, HOLY!" Are you really ready to face Him? Now for a moment imagine that you may not have attained a righteousness that surpasses the scribes and the pharisees, do you practice any disobedience, loose-living, or subscribe to a 'Jesus' of your own design (anything less than the Stone of stumbling and the Rock of offense)? Imagine He might just look at you and say "I never knew you." Not that He will, but what if you/i/we really aren't ready? Consider Amos 5:18. There are few things that Bible-writers magnify to the third degree. For instance: Holy, Holy, Holy. Isaiah didn't stutter, repeating a word was a form of emphasis. Few things got a second, an exorbitantly miniscule number of atributes make the third degree, i can only think of three (consider that God has more than 20 names, probaly more like 30). Obviously the Holiness of God made the 3x, Woe was pronounce 3-fold, and the bride is to have an atribute the excels to the third power. In Ephesians you will find that He is returning for a bride that is without spot, wrinkle, or blemish. It is a scary thing, a terrible, horrifying, gahstly thing to go proudly stomping into the throne room of a King that is not happy to see you. There is a reason we are greatly to fear God and it is not because he is loving, forgiving, and kind. Just for a moment consider... are you sure your ready? I'm excited to go home, but i know i have much work to do here yet. I can't wait to see my Savior face to face, but i'm not absolutely certain i would recognize Him. Peter spent 3 yaers with Him and had no idea who He was when he saw Him after the resurection. Jesus said those who truly believe would not only do the works He did, but greater works than these! I don't see a lot of that going on these days so i wonder who really is ready? Jesus seemed concerned as i am in Luke 18:8, will He find faith, genuine faith? I am pressing on and pressing in. I am determined to be in that number. I want to here Him say "well done" and so working out my own salvation is my number one, knowing Him is my center stage, walking as He walked is my goal. Having been a backslider, knowing He has no joy in one who draws back, i caution everyone to be sure we are always moving forward. There is no coasting in a race to the finish, especially in the home stretch. There is no middle ground in this war. 99% obedience is disobedience. PERSUE Righteousness, Godliness, Faith, Love, Patience, and Gentleness. Fight the good fight. Do not comprimise. I heard a prophecy this morning that gets me excited: by the end of this year, there will be no middle ground, the line will be drawn; we must choose camps, Saul or David, Jesus or anybody else, passivity or passion. Come boldly not arrogantly, with fear and trembling. Fear and Trembling.

We are not perfect indivually, but together we make up the Body, and united we are perfect, like our Father is perfect. PPl always say there no such things as a perfect church, but i beg to differ, now though we're not perfect in a worldly standard or measure or way, i believe we were saved, by grace and Jesus lives in us, the Holy Spirit, and together we are the Body of Christ, Christ is the head, now we make up one total new man, and maybe that's whawt scripture is refering to, making one new man, bridging the gap. we deserved to die on the cross, all of us, we did...but sinless Jesus Christ died in our place, through Him we receive forgiveness, so we should easily and readily forgive any and everyone, look at the world see them through eyes of love, the Father's eyes, your lovable and worthwhile and Jesus died also to pardon your sins and and give you new life.

You can't be serious? Maybe i am not hearing what you are meaning. What you said is: (in effect) there is no need to be or even work at being perfect/holy because the church body is already perfected. So then God really didn't mean it when He said "be holy as i am holy"? And He was most likely just kidding when He said "without holiness no one will see the Lord." And when Jesus said "even greater works will they do" maybe He meant we would be better at comprimising morally. Hmm i suppose The Holy Spirit may have just been cranky the day He had Paul write to the corinthians "cleanse yourSELVES from ALL filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God." However, not likely. I know God says what He means and means what He says. We are not getting into heaven on anyone elses merit. You are right we are saved by grace not of works lest any man should boast, but dont forget faith without works is dead. And we are to "put on" the new man, we are to "grow up(mature) into the head, even the man Jesus Christ." These verses are explain things we are to do individually, these are not corporate actions. "Behold the old has passed away, all things have become new;" this is the essence of christianhood, that we are a new creation no longer seeking our own, no longer living to satisfy the flesh, but living to please our God, living to serve Jesus and His body as Jesus Himself would and did. There should be no comparison between a christian and a sinner. Jesus will take anyone, yes, but He changes everyone, day by day. And our reasonable service is that our bodies be offered up, living sacrifices, holy to God. Jesus said take up your cross and follow me; YOU take up YOUR cross, die to your self, and follow me, do as I do. I'm not saying there is no place for corprate serveice, not at all. We must be a 'body' in loving unity. Jesus said the world would believe He came when we are one. And one man sharpens another as iron sharpens iron. And we are certainly not to forsake the coming together, but the corporation built on the individual in selflessness. "Put on the new man" means "work out your own salvation." We must not settle for lukewarm, or we will be 'vommited' out into the outer darkness. Yes we need to see the world through the loving forgiving eyes of Christ, but you have to have eyes free of debris to do this. And forgiving any and everyone should be no new revelation. We are to forgive as we would be forgiven. But, forgiving people does not excuse us from living a holy, pure, blameless life before the all-knowing, all-seeing, righteous Judge of heaven and earth. 1Peter 1:17 says: if you call on the Father, who without partiality judges according to each one's work, conduct yourselves throught the time of your stay here in fear. Remember "not everyone who says to me Lord, Lord will enter in." There is no substitute for perfecting holiness in the fear of God.

Ppl r unreasonable, illogical, self centered. Love them anyway. If u do good ppl will accuse u of selfish ulterior motives. Do good anyway. If u are successful you will win false friends, and true enemies. Succeed anyway. The kindness you show today will be forgotten tomorrow. Be kind anyway. Honesty and frankness will make you vulnerable. Be honest and frank anyway. The biggest person w/ the biggest ideas can be shot down by the smallest person w/ the smallest mind. Think big anyway. What you spend years building may be destroyed overnight. Build anyway. Ppl really need help, but may attack you if you help them. Help them anyway. Give the world the best you've got and you might get kicked in the teeth. Give the world the best you've got anyway.--Author unknown. If I'm not mistaken about this, I guess Mother Theresa kept a copy of this in her Bible, thought it was good and came across it again...

Hereis a different version I like a little better:Love Them Anyway People are unreasonable, illogical, and self-centered. Love them anyway. If you are kind, people may accuse you of selfish ulterior motives. Be kind anyway. If you are successful, you will win some false friends and true enemies. Succeed anyway. The good you do today will be forgotten tomorrow. Be good anyway. Honesty and frankness will make you vulnerable. Be honest and frank anyway. What you spend years building may be destroyed overnight. Build anyway. People need help, but may attack you if you try to help them. Help them anyway. In the final analysis, it is between you and God. It was never between you and them anyway.

I like that version...especially the part about it being between you and God. I've thought about that a lot in different situations...it doesn't matter what anyone else does or is like...just do and be what you know you're suppose to do and be, because it is between you and God...you have to answer for yourself and your own actions...or non actions!

There is a movie coming out called "The end of the spear" that is supposed to be really good. It is a true story about these men that went to Ecuador to minister to this fierce tribe down there and they were martyred and then there wifes went down there and ministered...Watch the trailer for it here..http://www.everytribe.com/Movies/EndOfTheSpear.aspx

That's a really neat and moving testimony, we seen it on TBN or one of those channels recently, the true story and the wives and some of the tribal members, sharing... neat they're making a movie..it's really a remarkable moving about forgiveness. in the program i watched the guys who were killed were fully armed, but had said before, they would not use the weapons on the tribal men, even if attacked, b/c the other men, hadn't hadn't received Jesus, and they didn't want them to not go to heaven, they knew if they'd died, they'd be going to heaven.

Hey everybody, i am just finishing up a fantastic book... well really its more of a series and i recently purchased a boxset-style compilation. It is a ground breaking work by a single author, though is known for using various pen-names. The set is riddled with earth shaking revelation. And wow, is the author passionate about holiness, purity, righteoussness and commitment to the church of God, especially in these last days. There are striking comparisons to todays church and the Isrealites of old. What I've found most frightening is the number of Isrealites and christians that didn't/aren't going to 'make the cut', even though they were all sons of Jacob and we are all 'born again'. I know many of you have read it already but it is strikingly appearent that quite a few have not. The book is called the Bible, and i highly recomend you read it, all of it, in its context, thruogh the character of God, without personal bias, and be prepared to adjust yourself in accordance to the scripture rather than attempting to interpret isolated verses to qualify your passivity and comprimised morallity. If your are feeling that that is a little harsh maybe you should take a little inventory as to why you are feeling conviction. Why would you settle for less than knowing absolutely and verifiably that the Jesus you serve is the One and Only Jesus Christ of Nazareth; the Holy, Holy, Holy; the Author and Finisher; and not some self-made giver of wims, powerless, sin accepting substitute. Jesus is the Stone of stumblig, the Rock of offense. It is sad that many are trying to make Him into the pebble of overlooking. Get back to the Scriptures and stay there. Quit making excuses because God isn't going to buy them. And quit making God into a manageble diety, who will pardon just because you said your sorry, without any desire to change. Yes, He is 'faithful and just to forgive us' when we confess, but keep reading seven vesrses later (1John 1:1 and 2:6) you will find that 'he who says he abides in Him ought himself also to walk just as He walked.' And how do you know that you know Him and love him? IF YOU KEEP HIS COMMANDMENTS! Read Your Bible and do what it says. And when you read, read it from God's perspective, whith His eyes. Read your Bible and spend time in prayer (note: prayer is a dialog not a monolog. it is a convesration not a laundry list.) in an effort to know Him and glorify Him, not to justify yourself. I pray the Lord will open spiritual eyes, unstop your ears and enlighten your heart. That you will see what you see, and hear what hear. May He make His face to shine upon you and stir your heart to flame. Praise God!

Are you attempting to rebuke certain members individually or lump us all together? I'm not sure how to feel about all the negativity flowing out of that. And I thought this was here for encouragement and edification! I have read The Book, so I guess I have nothing to worry about, but just for the record I'll accept rebuke from the proper authority and/or in the proper circumstances, not from what seems to be a general attack.

I wasn't attacking anyone who is a true desciple. All who are chasing hard after the Lord are the ones i want to spend my time with, drawing near out of pure hearts(2Tim2:22). There is simply too much bad doctrine posted on this forum. Now, making a mistsake is one thing, we all do from time to time, but spouting off faulty, underdeveloped, carnaly reasoned, personally biased interpritations of Scripture, and attempting to teach them to others is unacceptable. And I'm not exempt from this either. This is why i ask Pastor to check up on everything i post(1Cor 14:29). And if anyone finds me in contradiction to sound doctrine, please tell me. As a disciple of Christ and a son of the Most High, i truely relish correction(Heb 12:5, Prov 3:11-12); i don't want to be in error, even a little. Pastor Chuck will vouch for me, i am passionate for truth, and settle for nothing less, wether it agrees with my personal understanding or not, and when i find myself in opposition i carefully search out Scriptural truth and adjust myself accordingly rahter than rationalizing Scripture to fit with what I think is truth. Having read the book is great, but that is where we begin. If you are daily in the Word, then i was by no means speaking to you. But i have every intention of being uncomprimisingly true to the Srciptures, and the Spirit, correcting all manner of bad doctrine. Perhaps i am a bit harsh, but then again, so was Phinehas. Proverbs 28:9 says "One turns away his ear from hearing the law, even his prayer is an abomination." I realize i am just a baby christian. What is scary is that even a baby christian can point out these doctrinal errors. I am not trying to strive with anyone, i am only concerned with truth, God's truth; not theirs, not yours, not mine, God's.

When i sat down to write the original post i had not intended that it be an attack per se, but, in hind-sight, it has turned out that way. Inflection is very difficult to convey on a forum. It was intended as a satire and a little sorely needed correction. Not everyone needed that perticular correction and to that degree i am sorry; mainly that i offended with my generalization in address. I know there are plenty of well grounded Bible studyin', good fight fightin', sin hatin', devil stompin', friends of God that i have no buisness speaking such acusational rebukes towards. To you i appologize. I do not appologize, however, for the attack on lazy walking, nor recant anything that was written. I am zealous for God and His Word for this i will not appologize, quite the contrary, in this i will glory(Jer 9:24). I love you all regardless, but i can't let bad teaching stand unapposed. Know that no matter how heated i get i still speak in love, love is not always gushy and sweet; God is love and he has pronounced some pretty harsh judgment, even exterminations. God bless you with truth and clarity(and me too, i want all i can get).

Alright, after a good nights sleep the malicious tone of the majority of my posts is eating at me a little. I keep calling to mind Saul of Tarsus, and the pharisees who were quite zealous for the Scripture but missed God's heart. It is not my goal nor is it my place to be prounouncing judgment or exterminations, save for bad doctrine. My point being: i don't mean to attack any persons at all, only teachings. I don't want to be a Rehoboam (i'm not a king anyway, but i hope you get my point). I don't want to hurt anyone or even their feelings. I am just passionate that in these last days we take the time to be extemely accurate in what we teach, what we approve, and even what we say and do (for me i will have to be cautios even how i say it).

What a great day we had! I was very tired at the end, but this had to be one of the best days at church, for me, in a long, long, time. And you know me, EVERYDAY at church is a good day! I woke up this morning so fired up I can't stand it! I have been totally busy about the Lord's business this morning, and the focus has been YOU!! I have such a strong desire to build closer relationships with you. Communication is the key! I want you to be able to reach out to me, I want to reach out better to you! I so believe the Lord is stirring this up so we can adequately minister to multitudes of people. And we are NOT going to have the ol' face-to-the-back-of-the-head-of the person in front of you! NO! We are not going to have someone hurting or in need come in and out of our ministry without God's love being shed abroad. We are anointed to do this! I am so glad for you today! I pray God's richest blessing upon you and yours. Now, let's go conquer this week, in Jesus's name!!!

I had some very hard hitting information come my way via a book I bought. I believe it contains information that God wanted to come my way. It is called 'The Disciple Making Pastor' by Bill Hull. It is significant to me because it helped to solidify my call to Mt. Pleasant, something I have been constantly attentive to since I came here so many years ago. I wish I could express in written words what this book is doing on the inside of me, but suffice it to say it having a powerful effect. I believe it contains information that I needed that is integral to both evangelism and revival in Central Michigan. it is a piece of the puzzle, another answer to a question I didn't know to ask. Stay tuned.

Dave Moyes is moving out of state, he has some things to sell, for example an air conditioner (brrr), fridge (nice one), a truck tool box, and here is the big one, a like new 3 piece Craftsman tool box FULL of like new Craftsman tools for $700. The boxes alone cost more than this. If you know anyone interested, please let me know. Everything is going cheap. Dave is relocating to Missouri, by faith, where he has some family. We bless him, and pray Godspeed for his journey!

This was written by a Hospice of Metro Denver physician. I just had one of the most amazing experiences of my life, and wanted to share it with my family and dearest friends: was driving home from a meeting this evening about 5, stuck in traffic on Colorado Blvd., and the car started to choke and splutter and die - I barely managed to coast, cruising into a gas station, glad only that I would not be blocking traffic and would have a somewhat warm spot to wait for the tow truck. It wouldn't even turn over. Before I could make the call, I saw a woman walking out of the "quickie mart" building, and it looked like she slipped on some ice and fell into a Gas pump, so I got out to see if she was okay. When I got there, it looked more like she had been overcome by sobs than that she had fallen; she was a young woman who looked really haggard with dark circles under her eyes. She dropped something as I helped her up, and I picked it up to give it to her. It was a nickel. At that moment, everything came into focus for me: the crying woman, the ancient Suburban crammed full of stuff with 3 kids in the back (1 in a car seat), and the gas pump reading $4.95. I asked her if she was okay and if she needed help, and she just kept saying "I don't want my kids to see me crying," so we stood on the other side of the pump from her car. She said she was driving to California and that things were very hard for her right now. So I asked, "And you were praying?" That made her back away from me a little, but I assured her I was not a crazy person and said, "He heard you, and He sent me." I took out my card and swiped it through the card reader on the pump so she could fill up her car completely, and while it was fueling, walked to the next door McDonald's and bought 2 big bags of food, some gift certificates for more, and a big cup of coffee. She gave the food to the kids in the car, who attacked it like wolves, and we stood by the pump eating fries and talking a little. She told me her name, and that she lived in Kansas City. Her boyfriend left 2 months ago and she had not been able to make ends meet. She knew she wouldn't have money to pay rent Jan 1, and finally in desperation had finally called her parents, with whom she had not spoken in about 5 years. They lived in California and said she could come live with them and try to get on her feet there. So she packed up everything she owned in the car. She told the kids they were going to California for Christmas, but not that they were going to live there. I gave her my gloves, a little hug and said a quick prayer with her for safety on the road. As I was walking over to my car, she said, "So, are you like an angel or something?" This definitely made me cry. I said, "Sweetie, at this time of year angels are really busy, so sometimes God uses regular people." It was so incredible to be a part of someone else's miracle. And of course, you guessed it, when I got in my car it started right away and got me home with no problem. I'll put it in the shop tomorrow to check, but I suspect the mechanic won't find anything wrong. Sometimes the angels fly close enough to you that you can hear the flutter of their wings... Psalms 55:22 "Cast thy burden upon the Lord, and He shall sustain thee. He shall never suffer the righteous to be moved."

Jazz and I went and seen this last night. It was awesome with a powerful message! I wasn't going to go see it, cause I thought it was something else, but really glad we did. It really touched my spirit...I think you'd have to be spiritually dead for it not too! If you haven't seen it I would reccomend it.

Don and I took the kids last Saturday. It was really an amazing show. Daniel wanted to stay and see it again right away. lol I have to admit I cried a few times. It witnessed with my spirit a lot...especially the similarities of Aslan and Jesus. It was wonderful and will definately be part of my movie collection when it comes out on DVD.

ME TOO! Pastor and I agreed that when it comes out on DVD - it is a must-have! We tried not to sob, so we just kind of looked at each other out of the corners of our eyes. I guess it was comforting to know that we were not alone, but that we were both getting all choked up over it.

That's not the only thing, but that's the only thing I can think of right this moment. It's kinda scaring me a lil bit. Let me know what you think k! LATA! I LOVE YOU GUYS! Love always, KC

In Daniel God is referred to as a "Revealer of Secrets." Ask Him to explain it to you. You may just have a prophetic gifting. Be sure God gets the glory, praise, and acknowledgment for all that comes from it. I would sugest writing down and dating your visions, words, and revelations. If this is an authentic gifting, it would behoove you to study the prophets in the Bible very closely. Also, seeking out someone known to flow in the prophetic is a really good idea. As much as i covet that gift, the vast majority of my knowledge is book-learned, so i'm sorry if i'm of little help. God bless you.

It is also good to remember that there are spirits out there that seek to counterfeit the real in an attempt to deceive you. Remember to test the spirits. Compare EVERYTHING to scripture, EVERY Time! Of course there are some things that cannot be found in scripture, but the essence of it can always be tested...That would be kind of indepth to try to put in a forum, but you can probably understand the gist(sp?) of it

You all may have had this revelation, but it is fresh to me and i really like it so i felt the need to share it. And i need to set this up backwards of how it came to me so bear with me. Psalm 100: 1 Make a joyful shout to the Lord, all you lands! 2 Serve the Lord with gladness; come before His presence with singing. 4 Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, And into His courts with praise. Be thankful to Him and bless His name. Jeremiah 33:11 (starting halfway though) ...and of those who will bring the SACRIFICE OF PRAISE into the house of the Lord... Hebrews 13:15 Therefore by Him let us continually offer the SACRIFICE OF PRAISE to God, that is, the fruit of out lips, GIVING THANKS to His name. Now obviously this is not the only 'sacrifices' we are to offer (just see Heb 13:16 or Rom 12), but this type is always at our disposal. It is always in our power, and it is entirely our choice. I have often heard this type of offering compared with the burnt offering (hence Psalm 100) which is to be given of our own free will (Lev 1:3). Ok ok, here is the sweet meat: Ezekiel 46:13 You shall daily make a burnt offering to the Lord....you shall prepare it EVERY MORNING. Every day should begin with praise and thanksgiving. We should wake every morning, preparing for the day with singing to the Lord, with joyful shouts, with the fruit of our lips offered up. Wow, i like that! And if you really can't think of anything to sing and shout for, be thankful we don't have to start the day butchering sheep and and burning livers. Praise God, and may He bless you richly today as you sing His praises!

So i have been a little upset for the last few days. I prophesied that i would be completely healthy this year; no sniffles or hacks or even runny noses (save for those from spicey food). But i got sick. I know it is God's will that we all be in health, and His eyes go to and fro to see who He might show Himself strong on the behalf of, so i didn't get it. I have found comfort and relese in a few good scriptures like 1Peter 1:6 and perhaps i had need of some testing and purifying; and i really like the manner in which Hanania, Misheal, and Azariah answered Nebuchadnazzer, they said "our God is able to deliver us from your hand, but even if He doesn't..." Even if He doesn't! I have also found solace in the fact that without so much as a tylonol i'm am recovering 3 to 4 times more quickly than anyone else i know who has had the same thing. However, i still got sick and felt a little robbed. Well, this morning in Joel, God showed me something exciting! He brought two sections of scripture together for what seems to me to be a powerful truth, even as i type this another scripture comes tomind to back it up. The uncanny thing is that the two 'sections' are in direct succession, immediate context, but i don't think i've ever really added them together before. Earlier in the book of Joel, he speaks of the locusts who come destroying, swarm after swarm leavilng only enough for the next swarm to devour. Then in verse 23 he starts talking about the Holy Spirit, the verse we all love, the one we are all believing for, not only will He 'cause the rain to come down for you' He is sending 'the latter rain and the former rain in the first month.' Verse 24 is really just explaining the effects of the rain, but verse 25 is fantastic (really its all fantstic). In verse 25 God promises to "restore" that which the 'locusts' have destroyed. Now the 'rain', the 'wheat', the 'wine', and the 'locusts' are, of course, all figurative. When He 'restores' to us the latter rain, it is the power we have been missing out on for the last 1700 years or so. Had there been no barrenness what would be restored? What does it mean to send the former and the latter rain at the same time except that the former has been restrained. And when He begins to send the deluge of the Holy Spirit it is going to be a Noah style flood but not of physical water(and i know there is a scripture taht says something about the knowledge of God covering the earth like water or something like that). I've heard it said that hell hath no fury like a women scorned, but for certain Heaven has no outpouring like a Holy Spirit restrained. So i'll give up a little health, even when it is in God's will, and within my faith. If it means having just a little more to be 'restored', take it all. I'm excited! Let Your glory fall, Let Your glory fall! Though He slay me, i will yet trust in Him (Job13:15).

Amen, Bro. It is exciting when you can mining in the Word and find an answer that speaks expressly to what you are asking for! And I'd love to have the answer on the tip of my tongue for you, but it is even more precious, I think, when you find it yourself. And that is God's will that we search the scriptures daily. It's great stuff, isn't it? :)

Ok...the praise report is that I only have 2 wisdom teeth instead of 4 like most people. Praise God for that (only half of the pulling that has to be done!):o) The prayer request is for my teeth. The 2 widsom teeth that I have are infected and the one has a hole in it and a piece of it came out the other day. I have another tooth that part of the tooth has came out also. "From what the dentist says" it's looking like a big surgical procedure and quite a bit of money even after insurance is billed. I'm just glad that My God is bigger than what the dentist or anyone else says! Along the lines of emils last post...it is awesome when God shows you something in his word. I get Copelands devotionals everyday and today's (the day I went to the d.d.s) was about having faith and Mark 11:24 Therefore I tell you that whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you receive it and it will be yours!! Praise God for being faithful to us in showing us things that we need at just the right time!! Love ya'll!

Don't know what happened when I tried to reply last time, I think I hit the wrong button at the wrong time or something! Anyway, you'll be in our prayers for the wisdom tooth thing. I had mine removed 24 years ago and the situation is STILL fresh in my mind! God's provision is there! Healing and Finances both, and Deb and I will be praying that you receive on both ends!

Hey you guys that know Art Frantz (and those that don't) Keep him in your prayers as he still has about another 10 months in Iraq. Remember his fellow soldiers also in your time of prayer. You would want some one to be in prayer for you if the places were changed around!
